Duran Duran has been forced to cancel the opening dates for their UK tour after their lead singer Simon Le Bon was stricken with laryngitis.
The group cancelled their Newcastle and Glasgow dates however the group has promised to reschedule the show with new dates to be announced in the next several days.
Speaking with the BBC members of the group said they regretted their decision, however the throat infection needed time to clear up before they could forge forward.
Duran Duran recently won a Lifetime Achievement award from Q magazine and the Outstanding Contribution BRIT award.
If you have tickets for one of their cancelled showed be sure to hang onto them as they will be used for the rescheduled tour dates.
