University of Florida students who are currently studying in the Italy city of Florence have been given explicit instructions to stay away from the cast of Jersey Shore under threat of expulsion.
MTV began filming the 4th season of Jersey Shore this week in the city however the cast is barred from famous landmarks such as the Uffizi Gallery and Boboli Gardens.
Florence Mayor Matteo Renzi has also forbid the cast from getting drunk in public or attending locations where alcohol is servers and now University Administrators have decided that they don’t want their institution to be part of any shenanigans that the cast causes that would break the rules of the city where there exchange students attend school.
In a letter sent to students this week Administrators warn:
“Any student who does agree to participate in the filming of the show, or who signs a waiver or legal agreement of any sort with MTV, will be expelled from the program immediately and parental units will be informed.”
Serious University of Florida, you’re going to tell mommy and daddy? The last time we checked your students were suppose to be growing up and legal adults and now you’re babying them.
