Vanessa Hudgens Often Dreams Of Golden Globes, Cotton Candy

Vanessa Hudgens spends some of her free time daydreaming about such important things as cotton candy and Golden Globes. Then again, doesn’t everybody?

The Spring Breakers star recently shared a couple of tweets that let her fans and followers know just what’s on her brain these days. Not only does her mind often wander to the cotton candy she had on her 25th birthday, she also dreams about scoring a Golden Globe for one of her cinematic endeavors.

According to the celebrity gossip site Just Jared, Vanessa Hudgens wouldn’t mind sitting down with a never-ending batch of the cotton candy she consumed just a few days ago. The actress celebrated her most recent trip around the sun on December 14.

“Still daydreaming about this Spin-Spun Cotton Candy from my birthday party. It glowed!” Hudgens recently tweeted about the candy in question.

Based out of Deerfield, Illinois, Spin-Spun All Natural Confections is gourmet old-school cotton candy with a modern twist. According to the company’s official website, their confections are with a tablespoon of inspiration, a half-cup of passion, a tablespoon of love, and two cups of awesome.

When she isn’t fondly recalling the sensation of devouring copious amounts of gourmet cotton candy, Vanessa Hudgens hopes to one day score a Golden Globe of her very own. She recently posted a photo on her Tumblr page in front of a picture of legendary screen actress Marilyn Monroe holding one of the coveted trophies.

“Where’s mine? The dream,” she wrote.

Although writer-director Harmony Korine’s neon-soaked crime drama Spring Breakers didn’t earn Hudgens a Golden Globe nomination, there’s a chance her performance in Ron Krauss’ gritty drama Gimme Shelter will do the trick. Hudgens is almost unrecognizable in the role of troubled teenager Agnes ‘Apple’ Bailey.

The actress recently told E! Online:

“Every single day was definitely a challenge but one I embraced with open arms. It was just so thrilling top be able to push myself every day and see how far I could take it. Probably the most physical and emotionally draining scene was my birthing scene. I’ve never shot a birthing scene and I ended up popping blood vessels in my face.”
