If you are in close proximity to a Haagen Daas (store, not pint), there is an event going on tonight at many of the locations known as “Free Cone Day.” From 4pm until 8pm, every customer will receive a free scoop of their “favorite flavor.”

The popular premium ice cream brand has a Facebook page dedicated to Free Cone Day, and lists off the locations that are participating in the event. And according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, fans of the brand can compete for a far longer stretch of comped ice cream:

For loyal fans of the brand interested in becoming the Häagen-Dazs Shops’ Flavor Ambassador, you can upload a video explaining why you should receive the title. A panel of judges from the company will award one winner free ice cream for a year as well as the opportunity to provide feedback on prospective new flavors, a blog spot on the e-club newsletter and more.
