‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 4 First Sneak Peek Revealed

Game Of Thrones Season 4 sneak peek is here to get fans excited about the upcoming continuation in the saga of the George R.R. Martin adaptation.

The incredibly popular series is highly anticipated by fans of the franchise, who have been (im)patiently waiting for the HBO series to resume.

The first Game Of Thrones clip for Season 4 arrives ahead of the scheduled premiere in early 2014 and gives some clues as to what takes place in the new season.

In the trailer, which also includes highlights of Season 3, we see several main characters in different situations from which we can speculate what will take place next season.

Fans are dreading what character will go next, since Game Of Thrones Season 3 saw a carnage of unprecendented proportions before all was said and done, and there have been promises that more main characters will die during Season 4.

However, we don’t see any of that in the new promo. Not a single death, dismembering, or decapitation is shown, so far, so good.

The first part of the HBO promo is a celebration of how well the premium network did on 2013 with shows such as Boardwalk Empire, Eastbound & Down, and Veep.

The good stuff starts at about the 1:37 mark in the video with the Game Of Thrones footage fans have been anticipating. It’s not much, just about seven seconds worth, but it will leave you asking for more.

First there is the shot of a horse galloping towards a wall of sand, below which stands the still dark figures of what many think must be Daenerys’ freed slave army.

We get a very brief look at Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) in cuffs, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) being embraced by a crowd of thousands, King Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) looking deep in thought, Sansa (Sophie Turner) and her gorgeous locks, and Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) shows a new haircut.

The cast of Game Of Thrones was recently nominated for SAG Award for Best Ensemble.

Game Of Thrones will have to come up with some pretty impressive stuff to top the shocking “Red Wedding” of Season 3. We eagerly await more news about the much talked about HBO show. In the meantime, enjoy the teaser.
