Italy Revokes ‘Jersey Shore’ Filming Permits

MTV wants to film in Italy for the fourth season of Jersey Shore but it’s proving to be harder than originally expected. According to RadarOnline.com snoops Italian officials have revoked MTV’s filming permits, delaying the already-delayed production which was suppose to begin taping this week.

While the permits being pulled is not good news for the network The Hollywood Reporter says it’s only a “minor bump” that was brought on by the Italian President’s visit to Florence this week, the city where the show was set to film.

Last month various restrictions were replaced on the shows cast, including no going to bars, no drinking in public and no filming in famous locations, requirements that basically stris the show of all it’s appeal.

No comment has been made by show producers or MTV officials at this time.
