Nicki Minaj Could Possibly Record A Duet With Little Mix

Is Nicki Minaj preparing to record a duet with the British girl group Little Mix? If the band has anything to say about it, then they’ll head into the studio with the rapper very soon.

The four-piece is reportedly very keen to hop in the recording booth with the former American Idol judge. Although they’re dead set on collaborating with Nicki Minaj at some point in the near future, nothing was officially set in stone as of this writing. If you’re a fan of Little Mix and the rapper, then keep your fingers crossed!

The band once again expressed their desire to work with Nicki Minaj during a recent chat with the Daily Star. According to Jesy Nelson, this should come as no surprise to the group’s legion of fans.

“We’ve been saying for ages that Nicki Minaj is the person we all want to record with,” she said.

“If we say it enough, it may happen. We always envisage a rapper on our music,” Jade Thirlwall told the publication during the interview.

In other words, fans shouldn’t expect to find such a collaboration on Little Mix’s upcoming single “Little Me.” The latest release from Salute is presently scheduled to hit retail on December 22.

According Digital Spy, Nicki Minaj’s handlers also didn’t confirm that a duet is in her future at the moment. However, the rep did state that new songs from the rapper are on their way next year.

“Nicki is busy working on her third solo album right now, but she’s always keen to maintain her chart presence [and] a Little Mix collab would be a perfect fit for next year,” the spokesperson explained in a recent statement.

While you’re waiting to spend your hard-earned money on a new Nicki Minaj album, you can pick up a number of the rapper’s other offerings this holiday season. Not only can they purchase her line of clothes at Kmart, fans can also grab an admittedly pricey pair of hot pink Beats by Dre headphones this holiday season.

If you still find yourself craving a Minaj fix, then you can always pick up one of the 40 musical endeavors she’s helped out with over the span of her career. Since the rapper has absolutely no trouble working with other artists, chances are a collaboration with Little Mix is in the cards at some point down the road.
