Ashley Tisdale Releases New Single ‘You’re Always There’ [Listen]

Ashley Tisdale recently released her brand new single “You’re Always There.” If you haven’t heard the song yet, then take a peek at the clip embedded below.

It’s definitely been a while since the High School Musical alum released any new music. In fact, Tisdale’s latest album Guilty Pleasure hit retail shelves back in 2009. However, the singer recently dropped a brand new one-off single on her fans earlier this week.

According to Direct Lyrics, Ashley Tisdale released the song “You’re Always There” as a tribute to her late grandfather who passed away three months ago. Proceeds from sales of the single will go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Dealing with the passing of her grandfather was particularly rough for the actress since the two were reportedly very close. However, the Los Angeles Times reports that Tisdale got through the loss with a little help from her fiance Christopher French. He also helped out with writing and recording the tribute song.

During her recent appearance on Ryan Seacrest’s radio program, Ashley Tisdale discussed at-length just how much she loves Christopher French. Although she’d spent time in long relationships in the past, the former Suite Life of Zack and Cody star said her romance with French was very different.

“I think from the moment that him and I met, I just knew it. I was like, ‘Okay, this is the guy,’ and he knew the same thing. It’s just this feeling that, it doesn’t get any better. I just can’t explain it,” she explained during her recent chat with the American Idol host.

She added, “It’s just natural between us. With other relationships, you’re trying too much and trying to make it work and then there’s just a moment when you find somebody and you’re like, ‘Holy…! This is so natural.’ I had no idea and I did not think that would happen and I was just so focused on other things and then suddenly it just kind of hits you.”

Although Tisdale and French plan to tie the knot at some point down the road, the two haven’t set a date for the event as of this writing. Chances are you’ll hear about it as soon as they are ready to walk down the aisle.
