Tami Erin Arrested For DUI, Felony Hit-And-Run

Tami Erin was arrested Saturday afternoon for DUI and felony hit-and-run.

The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking star was stopped by police in Los Angeles after she allegedly hit three cars. According to TMZ, Erin hit the first car and then drove off, and then did the same with the other two cars. Law enforcement sources said at least one person was taken to the hospital.

Erin reportedly failed a field sobriety test and was taken into custody. The 39-year-old refused to submit to a blood alcohol test, and bail was set at $100,000. She was bailed out of jail Sunday afternoon.

Tami Erin was arrested in April for allegedly assaulting her male roommate. According to reports, someone heard Erin and the roommate arguing, and placed the actress under citizen’s arrest. When police arrived, they arrested her, although the alleged victim had no visible injuries.

Erin said she caught the roommate filming her without her permission, and that her privacy was illegally violated. She said she acted in self-defense.

In August, Erin received phone calls from her agent and publicist telling her that en ex-boyfriend was trying to sell a private sex tape to the media. Erin called the ex “the biggest piece of sh*t on the planet” for trying to sell the tape, and said she would fight to make sure it never saw the light of day. She said she had not been approached about selling the tape, and that she wouldn’t give her permission for it to be released.

Less than a month later, however, Tami Erin decided to stop fighting the release of the sex tape, and said it was “inevitable” that the footage would show up online. She decided that it made more sense for her to make money from the tape, and said she was going to beat her ex-boyfriend to the punch in accepting offers from the highest bidder.
