Jamie Lynn Spears Shows Off Holiday Family Photo

It looks like Hollywood is really getting into the holiday spirit. First Kelly Clarkson released her humourous “awkward” family holiday photo, and now Jamie Lynn Spears has decided to release her photo as well.

Spears, the younger sister of Britney, has spent most of her time out of the limelight raising her child Maddie, who is now five years-old and looking more like Jamie Lynn with every passing year.

The 22-year-old former Zoey 101 star is seen posing with her fiancé, Jamie Watson, and Maddie, who looks to be decked out in her best holiday pajamas. Also in the festive family photo is their chocolate labrador. To share with her fans, Jamie Lynn Spears decided to post the holiday photo on her personal Instagram with a caption that reads, “Attempting a family photo.”

The younger Spears sister announced her pregnancy at the age of 16 in 2007. At the time she was with her then-boyfriend Casey Aldridge. The two were engaged shortly after but decided to part ways. Instead of jumping back into the business, Spears moved back to Louisiana and decided to stay out of the limelight.

Back in November, Spears opened up to E! about her unexpected pregnancy and the moment she learned she was pregnant.

“I was riding around in my mom’s little convertible and I had not been feeling well. I thought it was just stress with work and all kinds of different things. My friend was like, ‘Why don’t you just take a test?’ I was like, ‘Okay, I will.’ We were filling up with gas, so I went in the gas station and took the test and it was positive. So that is the glamorous way that I found out I was going to have my little nugget!”

These days Jamie Lynn Spears is looking to return to the limelight with a new country single called “How Could I Want More.”
