Khloe Kardashian Files For Divorce From Lamar Odom
Khloe Kardashian has filed for divorce — officially — from her husband of four years, Lamar Odom, citing “irreconcilable differences,” according to court documents obtained by the website TMZ.
The news comes as no surprise and was rumored to be imminent, as reported by The Inquisitr earlier on Friday.
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom signed a prenuptial agreement, so there should be no drama in the division of property. She is also asking that his last name be legally removed from her name.
After months of marital problems, following Lamar Odom’s alleged drug abuse and cheating, Khloe Kardashian had enough and filed the papers.
On Thursday, she posted a cryptic photo message to Instagram that could have been a hint of what was to come in the saga of her troubled marriage to the pro basketball player.
“I am strong because I’ve been weak. I am fearless because I’ve been afraid. I am wise because I’ve been foolish.”
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is reportedly not seeking spousal support, as she is wealthy beyond words, so is asking that the judge reject any request for spousal support from Odom.
Khloe Kardashian, 29, and her now-ex-husband, NBA player, 34, married in September 2009 after just one month of dating and have been estranged for months.
The marital problems reportedly began for the couple when Odom refused to seek help for his alleged drug abuse. Even though, for a time this year, it seemed as if they would work out their differences, it wasn’t to be so.

Rumors of Lamar Odom cheating on Khloe Kardashian have never been confirmed, but all that changed when he made a video that was made public in which he talks about staying on the “DL” while his wife is out of town.
A source tells Us Magazine that the couple have not spoken to each other since they spent Thanksgiving separately.
“She flip-flopped several times, but she can’t imagine having kids with someone who refuses to seek help for his disease,” the insider says.
Odom has reportedly tried to get back together with Khloe Kardashian, to no avail. In an episode of her reality TV show, he is heard on the phone, saying:
“I would do anything to be accepted back by you guys. You guys are all I’ve got.”
A friend of Lamar Odom has reportedly said that he is “moving on” with his life, now that it’s apparent that Khloe Kardashian won’t take him back.
