Kirstie Alley Calls John Travolta “Greatest Love Of My Life” [Video]


Kirstie Alley came clean about her history with John Travolta in an interview with Howard Stern. She went as as far as calling him the “greatest love of my life”.

Kirstie Alley and John Travolta are remembered for playing together in hit movie “Look Who’s Talking”. The two both admit they fell in love while on the set but repressed their feelings because Kirstie Alley was married to Parker Stevenson at the time. Kirstie Alley said:

“It took me years to not look at John as a romantic interest”.

She had previously said that it took everything she had to resist the urge to “run off and marry” him“. That is when she called Travolta the “greatest love of my life”

To this day Kirstie Alley and John Travolta remain very close friends. Kirstie Alley has even befriended John Travolta’s wife, Kelly Preston. Kirstie Alley said that in the beginning it was not always easy being friends with the couple saying?

“In the beginning, she would bust me, She would be, like, Are you flirting with my husband?”

Alley went on to say her private thoughts on the question were a resounding yes. Although she says now it isn’t an issue anymore as they are just good friends.

Kirstie Alley has always been the first one to defend John Travolta in the press. In the past, during an interview with Barbara Walters, Alley addressed the rumors about John Travolta being gay.

Alley said:

I know John. With all my heart and soul, he’s not gay,I think it’s some weird way, in Hollywood, if someone gets big enough and famous enough, and they’re not out doing drugs and they’re not womanizing, what do you say about them”?
