Phoebe Snow, Singer of “Poetry Man” Dead At 60

Phoebe Snow, the Grammy-nominated singer who was behind the 1970s hit Poetry Man passed away on Tuesday after suffering a brain hemorrhage.

You may recall that Snow put her singing career on hold starting in 1975 when her daughter was born with severe brain damage.

Snow’s daughter, who was expected to pass away before living through her toddler years survived until 2007 when she passed away at the age of 31.

Plans have not been set in stone for Phoebe’s funeral, however the ceremony is expected to happen in the next few days.

Our condolences go out to the singers family and friends.
