Pink Bank Robber: Woman Dressed In All Pink Hands Teller Note, Makes Off With Cash

A bank robber decked out in all pink struck a Maryland bank, passing the teller a note demanding cash and running off with a wad of money.

The robbery happened at a Capital One bank in Landover. A still image from the bank’s surveillance camera captured the pink bank robber, who wore a pink coat, and pink head wrap which covered her face. Police said she also had a pink cell phone.

Police in Prince George’s County, Maryland are still searching for the pink bank robber, who they describe as a black female in her late 20s and is somewhere between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-11 tall.

The suspect isn’t the only bank robber to make a fashion statement. Earlier this year, a green gown-wearing bank robber walked into a Stuart, Iowa, bank without a mask and demanded cash.

Police responded to a call from the First State Bank, where the green gown robber had already escaped in a the trunk of a dark sedan driven by an accomplice.

Witnesses said the woman’s green dress had a very sheer skirt that left little, if anything, to the imagination.

Even the Stuart police statement remarked on the robber’s attire, noting in the police report: “The dress that she is wearing is bright green and would have been noticed.”

Police are offering a cash reward up to $1000 for tips that lead to an arrest and indictment in this case of the pink bank robber.
