Macy’s 87th Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade: Watch Live Here [Streaming Video]
The 87th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will take place in New York City today, and it promises to be one to watch. More than 3.5 million people are expected along the parade route and an estimated 50 million more will be watching at home and online (the link to watch the parade live is at the bottom of this article or click here).
NBC Today show’s Matt Lauer, Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie will be hosting the event. The weather today is expected to be partly cloudy and windy with a cold breeze blowing through, but that is not expected to dampen the festivities at all.
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is one of the most watched events in the world for the month of November with festive floats, bands and several dignitaries on hand to join in the fun

The line up of this years’ floats include Hello Kitty, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Spider Man, Ronald McDonald, Pillsbury Doughboy, Pikachu, Buzz Lightyear, Smurf, Spongebob, Giant baseballs, stars, pumpkins, and candy canes, Santa’s Sleigh, True Spirit of Thanksgiving, Winter Wonderland in Central Park among many others.
Celebrities on hand will include the Big Apple Circus, Kristin Chenoweth, Cherokee National Youth Choir, Chica and the gang from Sprout, Cirque du Soleil, Gavin DeGraw, Brett Eldredge, Fall Out Boy, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots with the cast of “Sesame Street,” Fifth Harmony, Florida Georgia Line, Goo Goo Dolls, Ariana Grande, Jack Hannah, Megan Hilty, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Sharon Jones and The Dap Kings, Sandra Lee, Cher Lloyd, Austin Mahone, Mannheim Steamroller, Miss America 2014 Nina Davuluri, NFL legends Bart Oates, Amani Toomer and Hines Ward, NHL legends Cam Neely and Mike Richter, as well as Kellie Pickler, The Robertson family from A&E’s hit series “Duck Dynasty,” Debby Ryan, Richard Simmons, and The Summer Set.
