Perez Hilton Takes Issue With Lady Gaga, Says She ‘Globs On To People’ [Video]

Although Perez Hilton and Lady Gaga were once friends, those days are long gone.

During his recent appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, the celebrity gossip blogger opened up about why he and Mother Monster are no longer on speaking terms. In addition to discussing the singer’s alleged drug problem, Perez told Williams that Lady Gaga has a tendency to “glob on to people.”

“She said in an interview recently that I was a ‘fake friend’. Now if you know anything, or one thing about Perez Hilton, I think, is that I am not fake and I keep it real. And, I viewed her as an IRL friend — in real life friend. I viewed her as more than just a friend. I jokingly nicknamed her ‘my wifey’. To me she was that kind of friend,” he explained.

Hilton added, “She has a history of, and I don’t want to name names — she globs on to people, uses them and once they’re no longer of use to her will just throw them aside. That is what I’ve observed.”

When Wendy Williams asked Perez Hilton if there was any chances that he and Gaga could mend their relationship, the blogger said that probably won’t happen anytime soon.

Although Hilton believes it’s Gaga’s attitude that ultimately soured their friendship, the singer seems to think the problems began with him. During a conversation with Howard Stern a while back, Mother Monster discussed what where the issues started.

Gaga dished:

“What happened was we were doing an interview… and in the middle of the interview he started asking me really terrible questions. He was being very negative about Born This Way and we had had a lot to drink. He was supposed to be my friend and I felt betrayed, so I started crying. My friend had to come in and pull the camera out, they wouldn’t turn the cameras off.”

The Inquisitr previously reported that Lady Gaga’s fans began sending Perez Hilton death threats after he posted about the singer on his website. Although her supporters were coming to her defense, Gaga pleaded with fans to stop sending the guy hateful messages.

“Sending threats of any kind, using hateful or abusive language, and the provoking of others on the internet is not supported by me or anything that I stand for. What I’ve seen transpiring is wrong and upsetting to me, and I’ve made it very clear how I feel about equality and compassion,” she explained.
