Miley Cyrus Turns 21, See How She Celebrated Her Big Day
Miley Cyrus has been in the news a lot lately; now he has finally come of age, and can (mostly) act as a full-on adult. She turned 21 on Saturday, November 23.
It is hard to believe that the sweet girl we watched grow up in the Disney show Hannah Montana is all grown up and has turned into such a controversial figure.
Miley Cyrus has been making headlines ever since her August MTV Video Music Awards performance in which she made sure everyone knew what twerking meant, as she moved provocatively against the much older, married Robin Thicke to the tune of his hit song, “Blurred Lines.”
In the meantime, she was fielding the break-up rumors surrounding her and former fiance, Liam Hemsworth. She denied for months that their engagement was on the verge of ending.
Following the VMAs, the rumors intensified since Hemsworth did not come out to support her and many questioned as to why.
The last time Mile Cyrus had been seen with Liam Hemsworth in public was during the premiere of his thriller Paranoia, earlier in the summer.
Eyewitnesses at that red carpet, suggested that the couple were cold and distant with each other and barely said two words to one another.
Finally, in September, Miley Cyrus, through her rep, announced the engagement was over. Miley later admitted she knew the relationship had been over since about Valentine’s Day 2013.
Then came the release of her latest album Bangerz and the first single from it, “Wrecking Ball,” the video of which created controversy for having Miley Cyrus completely naked sitting on a wrecking ball.
She appeared to spend a low key birthday on Saturday suggested by her selfies, which she posted on Twitter and shows her lounging in her bed with her dogs.

The big bash came after the AMAs on Sunday, when Miley Cyrus was joined by One Direction band members Niall Horam and Liam Payne, Lorax, and some of her favorite little people.
Miley’s party was held at the Roosevelt Hotel Beacher’s Madhouse in Hollywood and was also attended by Kelly Osbourne, Emma Roberts, Wiz Kalifa, and others.
Dad Billy Ray Cyrus present his little girl with a $25,000 motorcycle. Sources tell US Magazine Miley Cyrus got a cake in the shape of a nude version of herself with pot leaves covering her privates.
