Jennifer Lawrence Discusses Her Trip To The Hospital With David Letterman [Video]
Jennifer Lawrence recently gave David Letterman an account of her trip to the ER.
The star of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire isn’t afraid to share her embarrassing ailments with the world. While chatting it up on The Late Show, Lawrence discussed her endoscopy and the bizarre conversation she had while waking up from the procedure.
When Letterman asked Jennifer Lawrence about her recent morning show cancellations, the actress had absolutely no trouble telling the world about her issues.
“I thought I had an ulcer, but it turns out it was a ‘fulcer.’ I went to the emergency room,” Lawrence explained to the genuinely amused late-night host.
The always-amusing actress continued, “I just had this really bad pain for, like, three weeks. And you know you can only s*** your pants so many times a day before you go to the emergency room, before you’re like ‘I need to go to the hospital.”
To make sure everything was okay, Jennifer Lawrence had to undergo an endoscopy. Not surprisingly, she didn’t have any trouble discussing this particular aspect of her trip to the hospital as well.
“I just did this thing yesterday called an endoscopo-something, where they put you to sleep. And the woman – it’s pretty clear when you first meet me, I’m a freakin’ head case and I’m crazy — so I’m in there like, ‘Ugh, what are these?! What do they mean?! What does that say?!’ The last thing I said was, ‘I’m paralyzed!'” Lawrence said.
Not only did the actress dream about a nuclear explosion during the procedure, she also said the first “lucid conversation” she had after waking up was about the Kardashians. She also made the anesthesiologist promise to watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
This is why the world absolutely adores Jennifer.
Although the stomach pains prevented her from doing some promotion for Catching Fire on several morning chat shows, Jennifer Lawrence still attended the Los Angeles premiere of the sequel on Monday night. The Inquisitr previously reported that her outfit caught the eye of just about everyone in attendance.
