Sexiest Man Alive 2013 Revealed By PEOPLE Magazine

People Magazine has unveiled its much anticipated and coveted 2013 Sexiest Man Alive.

And the honors go to…Adam Levine.

The Maroon 5 frontman had been rumored to be the magazine’s choice for Sexiest Man Alive in 2013. The competition was fierce, but The Voice coach came out on top.

PEOPLE’s cover describes the newly crowned Levine as “cool, confident, and seductive.” In other words, all that an a bag of chips.

Adam Levine says he was not expecting the honor to come his way:

“As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn’t really think that this was on the table. I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren’t, so that’s cool.”

The 34-year-old, who was raised in Los Angeles, cries during movies (E.T. The Extraterrestrial is the one that gets him every time), likes to walk around the house naked, and is excited to start a new life with his fiancé, Victoria Secret model Behati Prinsloo.

“I didn’t think marriage was for me for a long time,” the Sexiest Man Alive says. “I was ready when I was ready. That’s about as simple as it could possibly be.”

The news of the expected reveal of the Sexiest Man Alive came during the broadcast of The Voice as host Carson Daly held the magazine with Adam Levine’s cover photo on it.

Sexiest Man Alive Levine is known for his incredible body, thanks to yoga and spinning, according to the singer, his great, high pitched voice featured in the many ballads from Maroon 5, and that cute smile.
