NFL Week 11 Picks: Busy Week Highlighted By Broncos Vs. Chiefs
These NFL Week 11 picks are not guaranteed, and frankly after a Week 10 that saw two winless teams come out victorious, it would be foolish to set anything in stone.
In Week 10, the 0-8 Jacksonville Jaguars pulled off an upset victory over the Tennessee Titans, who lost quarterback Jake Locker for the season with a foot injury. Not to be outdone, the 0-8 Tampa Bay Buccaneers pounced on a Miami team in turmoil, sacking Ryan Tannehill twice in the Dolphins feeble attempt at a final comeback drive and getting a win on Monday Night Football.
With these games in mind, it’s hard to look at the great set of games and make NFL Week 11 picks with any certainty.
This week’s slate of games is headlined by a matchup of AFC titans, the 9-0 Kansas City Chiefs against the 8-1 Denver Broncos. It’s a difficult game to pick, as the Chiefs have played against the league’s worst schedule, yet still managed to win every one. They may not be as good as their record indicates, but have the defense to make Peyton Manning and the Broncos sweat.
Las Vegas obviously doesn’t think very highly of Kansas City. They’ve put the Chiefs at 8-point underdogs.
The NFL experts over at CBS are actually torn on this one as well. In their NFL Week 11 picks, six of their experts pick Denver to win (so does their “prediction machine,” if you’re into letting a robot tell you who to take), but Will Brinson and Jason LaCanfora think the Chiefs will pull off the upset.
