Miley Cyrus Parodies Justin Bieber Sleeping Video, Explains EMAs ‘Joint’

Justin Bieber apparently loves a prank. He might want to remind himself of that if he watches Miley Cyrus’ parody of the sleeping video filmed by Brazilian model Tati Neves Barbosa that he featured in, evidently without his consent.

The original viral video was reportedly uploaded to YouTube by someone other than Barbosa and has since received over 35 million views.

It showed Bieber sleeping on a day bed reportedly in a rented Brazilian villa during a concert after party on the South America leg of his Believe tour.

At one point the camera pans to Tati who smiles and is apparently talking to someone else, before she blows the still sleeping pop ldol a kiss.

Cyrus was persuaded to star in the parody on Capital FM Breakfast, during a promotional visit to the London-based radio station on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

In the new clip, the footage shows Justin sleeping on a bed, then cuts to Miley who poses suggestively as if she is in the same room.

Bieber’s camp have denied speculation that Barbosa is a prostitute and also denied the pair were intimate with each other. In a paid interview with UK tabloid The Sun, Tati claimed she had sex with the 19-year-old.

While at Capital FM Miley took the opportunity to address criticisms of her “joint” smoking stunt at the 2013 MTV European Music Awards in Amsterdam last Sunday.

During her acceptance of the Best Video Award for “Wrecking Ball,” the leotard-clad singer lit up a joint while onstage. She has since been slammed by various commentators, although the furor is not as outraged as reaction to her twerking duet with Robin Thicke at this year’s VMAs.

“Some people over think so much, that’s not why I do it,” Miley told the Capital FM hosts. “I did it mostly because I knew the fans in Amsterdam would love it.”

The 20-year-old added, “And I knew that the whole place would go super wild.”

Explaining where the idea to smoke the joint came from, Cyrus said: ‘It’s just not something I think about. I was just was walking out of my room and then I was like ‘oh I have this in my bag. That will be really funny.'”

She insisted, “I didn’t say anything to anybody.”

Cyrus, who is currently still in London, is set to perform on The X Factor this weekend and told her hosts she has something “beautiful” planned.

The wild girl’s album Bangerz topped charts around the world last month.
