Jenny McCarthy Talks Marriage, Says She’d Propose To Donnie Wahlberg

Jenny McCarthy wasn’t afraid to talk about marriage to boyfriend Donnie Wahlberg during an appearance on Bethenny. The View co-host, who seems incredibly happy with Wahlberg, dished about her beau during the appearance.

Bethenny Frankel started the conversation by revealing where the couple officially met, saying, “So you have a boyfriend, Donnie Wahlberg. And you met him on my friend Andy Cohen’s show.”

E! Online notes that Jenny responded, “Yes, yes. One the show where I first met him, I though he was not available. In my head I thought he was married.” It wasn’t until Wahlberg was a guest on her own show that McCarthy discovered the truth — Donnie was available.

But the former Playmate of the Year explained that it took a while for Wahlberg to ask her out, long enough that McCarthy questioned his sexual orientation. Lucky for her, she didn’t need to question him.

The New York Daily News notes that Jenny McCarthy also dished on the possibility of marrying her boyfriend, saying that she would definitely accept a marriage proposal if he asks. Not one to wait too long, she added that she would also consider being the one to ask him. Jenny commented:

“I told the universe I’m ready for love. I said, ‘Bring the one. I’m not doing any more auditions.’ I did one year of dating no one. I said I’m going to say no to everyone and if someone breaks through then I’ll follow that.”

McCarthy also boasted that she things Wahlberg would be a great husband. She dished, “I think [Donnie] would be an amazing husband! So, if he does [propose] yea, I would sure say yes. I wouldn’t be surprised if I was the one proposing!” She was also the one to make the first move by giving him her number.

Only time will tell if Jenny McCarthy takes the plunge and marries boyfriend Donnie Wahlberg.
