Two Killed, 24 Injured At House Party Shooting In Harris County [Breaking]


A fatal shooting erupted at a house party in the Cypress area of Harris County late on Saturday night. A man and a woman were killed by gunfire, and some 24 others were injured.

The shooting took place between 11 pm and midnight near to Enchanted Creek. One of the victims died at the scene, while the other was transported to Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center but died en-route.

The injuries from the house party shooting ranged from minor to critical. Four people who were shot were taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital for treatment and another three were treated at Ben Taub.

It is not known at this time what sparked the incident or what was the reason for the mass shooting. Police authorities are combing the area in search of two suspects, both believed to be male.

The Harris County Sheriff said that there were more than 100 people at the house party, many of whom fled the house in a panic.

It remains to be seen what the search for the shooter or shooters will reveal, as authorities try to establish what lead to the fatal house party shooting in Harris County.
