Did January Jones Dress As ‘Mad Men’s’ Betty Draper For Halloween?

January Jones recycled one of her Mad Men outfits as a Halloween costume while trick or treating with her young son, Xander.

Jones, who is a single mother to her infant, was spotted going door to door in Los Angeles on Thursday evening. However, rather than going out of her way to make something special, innovative or quirky for her to wear alongside her son, she was simply seen sporting a dress that looked suspiciously familiar, while she also wore her hair in very much the same coiffed fashion as her Mad Men character.

Jones’ dress could easily have been worn by Betty Draper during any of the AMC drama’s six seasons. She also complemented her fifties style garment with ear-rings and lipstick that matched Betty’s style too.

Throughout her holiday trek with her son, Jones appeared to be rather peeved with the activity and didn’t even raise a smirk of joy during the proceedings.

Maybe it’s because she had been recognised by each of her neighbors despite the fact that she tried in vain to go incognito.

Earlier in the week, Jones and her two year old were seen walking the streets of West Hollywood, with Xander, whose father still remains a mystery, even hinting that he is a huge Marvel movie fan as he was seen wearing a Captain American t-shirt at the time.

Discussing the anonymity of Xander’s Dad, Jones has previously remarked, “It’s just not something the public needs to know. I don’t divulge my sexual preferences. There are parts of your life, no matter what your job, that should remain private.”

Jones, who is, allegedly, currently single, has dated some of Hollywood’s most desirable males, including Ashton Kutcher and Jason Sudeikis, while she was also previously forced to deny that her involvement had lead to the demise of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s engagement.

E! News reported, “January and Liam have not seen each other at all since the photos that were taken in February and they have not kept in touch.” The images in question featured Jones and Hemsworth leaving the Chateau Marmont.

Jones can be seen reprising her role as Betty Draper in AMC’s Mad Men next summer. Earlier this year it was was announced that the highly acclaimed drama would be splitting its final season into two halves with Matthew Weiner, Mad Men’s creator, explaining that this allows them to “take advantage of [the] chance to have a more elaborate story told in two parts, which can resonate a little bit longer in the minds of our audience.”
