Selena Gomez Takes Miami In Memorably Minuscule Bikini, Debuts New Tat [Video]
Selena Gomez got in a little recovery of her own on Monday showing off her bikini-ready body in a tiny bikini in Miami, Florida on Monday, Oct. 28, which couldn’t hide her new tattoo.
The 21-year-old actress-singer lounged poolside and hit the beach with gal pals during a stop on her Stars Dance tour, where she is set to perform in Sunrise, Fla., on Wednesday.
Kicking back with cocktails and sunning herself as she relaxed, Selena’s new tattoo — as seen on her right hip in photos — has made headlines in addition to pictures of her smoking hot body.
Gomez’s new tattoo is the star’s third inking. She also has a music note etched on her wrist and a roman numeral of the number 76 on the back of her neck, for the year her mother was born.
As yet no-one’s quite sure what the tattoo says, but it appears to be a quote in cursive writing, the Huffington Post reports.
Of course, Selena still has a long way to go before her tattoo count rivals her former boyfriend’s — Justin Bieber, whose ink square footage currently hovers north of 21.
During her bikini-clad break, the Disney alum posted an Instagram letting fans and the world know she was “Off duty” along with a back-shot of herself.
Despite looking sexy in her black and white striped bikini, Selena has recently spoken out about pressure put on her to ‘sex up’ her image. Speaking onstage at her recent concert in Connecticut, she told fans,
“I have to tell you, I get it all day, every day. That I’m not sexy enough, or I’m not cool enough, or if I did this I would be accepted. Let me tell you one thing: the sexiest thing is class.”
She added, “I promise you that each and every one of you is made to be who you are. That is what’s so attractive and beautiful. Please don’t forget that, even when it gets hard.”
Selena has also hit headlines over the last month after song releases by her ex-beau in his “Music Mondays” series. Following Justin’s admission that his first single “Heartbreaker” is about one of his breakups, speculation about the pair’s now ended relationship continues.
On his latest single “Recovery,” the 19-year-old sings, “First I’ll acknowledge / All trust has been broken / A successful recovery / I prayed for us at night / Bless me with a second chance / Never thought I’d see your face again / Learned a lot though trial and error / I try to make it right.”
For her part, Selena recently said she has only been on one date since becoming single.
It’s rumored the reasons the starlet may be reluctant to date are down to “still being wrapped up” in Bieber.
