Sprint Unveils Smaller 3G/4G Overdrive, Improves Performance

Sprint on Thursday unveiled a new design for their pocket sized 4G router the Overdrive Pro. The router, which supports both 3G and 4G technologies allows up to eight devices to connect at one time, up from just 5 devices during the devices last release.

According to developer Sierra Wireless the router also boots and shuts down 35 percent faster than the previous model.

While the new hardware is smaller, the screen size is actually 45 percent larger, making it easier to read, but also easier to lose if you’re anything like me.

The router goes on sale March 20 for $50 after a $50 mail-in-rebate with a two-year data contract.
