Jane Seymour Divorcing Husband Due To ‘Irreconcilable Differences’
British actress and ex-James Bond star Jane Seymour, is divorcing her husband, James Keach, due to “irreconcilable differences.”
The 62-year-old Seymour announced six months ago that the couple had split up after more than 20 years of marriage. Although it wasn’t abundantly clear at the time if it was a trial separation or part of plans to divorce.
Jane Seymour didn’t elaborate on what the “irreconcilable differences” were between herself and her husband in the legal documents which were filed in L.A. County Superior Court last week.
It is known that Seymour is seeking joint legal custody of her twin sons, Johnny and Kristopher, both aged 17. She is also requesting financial support for the boys from Keach.
A representative for the couple told People Magazine: “The couple confirm that they are separated and have been for several months. At this time they are negotiating the terms of their divorce.”
The rep added: “They will continue their relationship as devoted parents to their children, as business associates and partners, and in their joint dedication to preserving and furthering the charitable endeavors that they’ve worked on throughout their marriage.”
It remains to be seen what the details of the final divorce settlement between Jane Seymour and James Keach will be. It is also not clear what the specifics of the custody deal will be when the papers are finalized.
