7th Heaven Star’s Ex-Wife: He’s Left Me Destitute

7th Heaven star Stephen Collins divorced wife Faye Grant last year and now his ex-wife is demanding more cash.

In a recent court filing Grant claims that after 27 years of marriage she is nearly destitute. She says that during their marriage she gave up the prime years of her own acting career to raise their children.

In the meantime, Stephen Collins continues to make big money. In 2013 alone he has earned $400,000 for his role on the hit TV series Revolution, $64,937 for Devious Minds, $7,682 for Scandal, and $5,500 for The Fosters. Grace appeared in ABC’s V and played Tattie McKee in State of Grace from 2001 to 2002.

The 66-year-old actor filed for divorce from his 56-year-old wife and she claims that her “upper class” lifestyle has been put in jeopardy since their divorce was filed.

When the couple was still together the 7th Heaven star was earning between $1 million and $3 million per year.

Faye Grant is asking for half of Collins’ $6 million bank account and an unspecified amount of spousal support. Grant also wants access to half the value from two Brentwood, California properties.

When the divorce was first announced their did not seem to be any animosity among the couple. Stephen Collins told E! News that he and wife Faye were “moving forward separately in our lives… She has been my dearest friend and a loving mother.” He further added, “I know that we’ll go through this process in a way that honors our family.” Grant told the publication, “Stephen’s filing for divorce is a surprise. I am devastated. I wish him the very best in whatever path he chooses to take. Twenty-seven years of marriage in Hollywood is the equivalent of 189 dog years. I was exhausted.”

Stephen Collins has not yet chose to comment on the new court filing.
