Miley Cyrus Stuns On Red Carpet With Classy Gown [Video]

Miley Cyrus is known for her crazy styles on the red carpet, but her look at the 30th Annual Night of Stars event in New York Tuesday night stunned for an entirely good reason.

The normally outlandish singer opted for a classy look, donning a green, sparkling, floor-length gown designed by Marc Jacobs. The gown was backless, but still covered up a lot more skin than Miley’s normal attire.

Miley’s high-fashion look was appropriate for the occasion, as the singer attended the gala to present the Superstar Award to the designer. Yahoo! omg notes that Cyrus paired the gown with Saint Laurent shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Several sites were impressed with the singer’s more classy look, and they probably should be, given her outfits of late. Cyrus especially stirred controversy during the MTV VMAs this summer, when she donned a nude-colored, plastic bikini to dance on stage for her song “We Can’t Stop.”

But the Bangerz singer showed no trace of her normally out-there self, instead showing off a very glam look. Us Weekly notes that Cyrus wowed onlookers, who added that she was “smiling a lot” while on the red carpet. While she was willing to show up (and show off her more classy side), Cyrus declined to do all interviews.

However, she did give off a huge smile when the magazine asked if she was ready to love again after splitting with fiancé Liam Hemsworth earlier this year. Cyrus did speak with Ellen DeGeneres about her breakup with Hemsworth, saying, “I’m just letting that chapter kind of close, and just looking forward to that new one. I want to be really clear and determined with everything that I’m doing in my life right now, and I have been.”
