Melissa Rycroft Shows Pregnancy Results On Twitter [Photos]

Melissa Rycroft shared her good news with the world. She is pregnant with her second child and she had proof to tweet to her thousands of followers.

Rycroft, who is mom to Ava, 2, was obviously thrilled to make the announcement on Tuesday and, as has become more and more common place with public figures, went to social media to let her fans know the family will be welcoming a new member soon.

The former Dancing With The Stars: All Star champion and former Bachelorette contestant posted an adorable picture of her husband and 2-year-old celebrating along with the future new mom. Little Ava is showing her excitement about having a baby brother or sister.

Melissa Rycroft made an appearance on ABC where she also announced the great news:

“The dancing family is growing,” Rycroft said on Good Morning America. “We have a little bundle growing.”

Melissa Rycroft came to notoriety when she competed for Jason Mesnick’s affection during Season 13 of The Bachelor accepting his proposal during the series finale, but getting dumped in front of millions of television viewers.

A former Dallas Cowboys chearleader, Rycroft, was called to replace TV personality Nancy O’Dell in Season 8 of Dancing With The Stars and was paired with Tony Dovolani ending in third place. Three years later, the pair returned to win the much sought Mirror Ball trophy.

Melissa Rycroft admitted the only reason she entered The Bachelor was because of the lack of commitment on the part of Tye Strickland, and after being publicly humiliated by Mesnick on national television, she ran back to her true love, Strickland, whom she married in Mexico in 2009.

Melissa Rycroft made the announcement of her engagement to Tye Stickland on Twitter. Her second baby is due in the Spring according to her tweets.
