Dolly Parton Car Accident Leads To Minor Injuries
Singer and actress Dolly Parton was involved in a car accident on Monday morning. The singer sustained minor injuries before walking away from the crash.
According to Nashville police, Parton was riding in the front passenger seat of a Nissan Xterra when it was struck on the side at the intersection of Vaulx Lane and Kirkwood Avenue.
Parton’s drive was traveling eastbound on Kirkwood Avenue when a Mitsubishi Diamante driven by Diane Lish, 64, of Old Hickory, pulled into the intersection from Vaulx Lane. The accident occurred at 11:41 AM
A police report states that Lish failed to yield at the intersection, resulting in the crash.
Dolly Parton and driver Judy Ogle, 68, of Nashville, Tennessee were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for observation. Both women were released a short time after arrival. Diane Lish was transported to Centennial Medical Center.After the accident Dolly Parton responded to her fans on Twitter.”I was in a fender bender this morning here in Nashville, but I am all good…. Just a little tired and sore. Resting at home now!”
Shortly after she announced her car accident Dolly Parton received a big show of support from her Twitter following fans.
