Miley Cyrus has landed herself in hot water, and just by posting a photo of herself on her social media. The pop singer is currently in the news for getting sued after a photographer is claiming she used a photo taken by him without her permission.
The snap showed Miley in the street. The "Wrecking Ball" singer sizzled in a belly-baring and skimpy crop top as she flaunted her sizzling and toned abs. The blonde paired her look with trendy jeans, also smiling and waving for the camera.
In Trouble For Instagram Photo
“The infringement includes a URL (Uniform Resource Locator) for a fixed tangible medium of expression that was sufficiently permanent or stable to permit it to be communicated for a period of more than a transitory duration and therefore constitutes a specific infringement," the document adds.
Doing Great Otherwise
Elsewhere, it looks like it's smooth sailing for the former Disney star, who is now climbing the ranks in the fashion world. In 2021, Italian designer Gucci unveiled Miley as its global ambassador - fellow pop singer Dua Lipa, meanwhile, fronts Italian brand Versace.
Gucci Gains For Miley
In June 2021, Miley told her Instagram army: "It’s with happiness and honor I announce I am the face of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum. @gucci and I have felt like family for a long time in our collaborations which have always revolved around vibrant color, self-expression & unapologetic contradiction. Being tough in a soft environment or still in a chaotic moment. #FloraFantasy is being who you are."
Also fronting designer brands are Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber for Balenciaga, plus model Kaia Gerber for Celine. Gucci, meanwhile, wrote: "Multi-platinum selling recording artist, songwriter and trailblazer @mileycyrus is the face of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum, a new fragrance by @alessandro_michele launching soon worldwide with a joy-fueled fantasy campaign inspired by Miley’s unique personality."
Miley has been lying low on social media this summer, but she did recently post to honor her dealings with Gucci.
