It's not often that Savannah James makes headlines worldwide but on the special occasion of Forbes declaring star basketballer LeBron James a billionaire, the athlete shone the spotlight on his wife. He penned an open letter to her telling the world that he wouldn't be where he is career-wise without Savannah and thanked her for over 18 years of support.
"Been my 🪨 holding this shit down from the very first jump ball! With all the BS that comes into our lives throughout the years and on the daily you've never waved, fluttered or allow yourself to simply not be strong for me, us but more importantly YOU!!"
He started his letter by saying Savannah has held him down from the beginning as they were high school sweethearts and have three children, Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri. The couple recently sent Bronny to his high school prom and Savannah shared the special moment via her Instagram.
"Where would I be today w/o you I think to myself quite often. The answer usually comes back to "not even close to where you would have wanted to be in life"! This is my appreciation post to you my Queen 👸🏾 because I'm simply letting you and the world know I ain't shit without you! All I need in this life of sin, is me and my girlfriend aka best friend aka wife! Love, King 👑"
LeBron ended his speech by saying, he's just letting the world know he appreciates her.
Their eldest child, Bronny, also plays basketball, and LeBron expressed an interest in playing with him professionally before retirement. Unfortunately, Deadspin reported the 18-year-old fell 31 spots to 60 on the National High School Player Rankings. The ranking drop affected his options to get into college and play as a student-athlete, but the family is still hopeful that he'll rise in the ranks and join a prestigious school.
LeBron and Savannah also have fun on the internet, like in the video below where he posted a video of her dressed down in bed with her hair bonnet on and make-up before adding a fully glam picture. LeBron wrote, "Balance Bade," while she replied saying,
"You mad aggy yo!!!! 😭😭 That skincare glistening tho✨✨"
