Tiffany Haddish checked an Entertainment Tonight reporter, Lauren Zima, who called her Dolce & Gabbana dress "a costume" at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. One thing you can always expect from the comedian is that she'll check every shade on arrival, and that's what she did!

"I paid for this... It's custom made, darling," Phew.

Tiffany Haddish Shines In Swarovski Crystals

Tiffany entered the Dolby Theatre in an emerald green figure-hugging dress with Swarovski crystals encrusted all over and a black satin bustier. The dress' fishtail flowed into a short train that trailed behind as she walked. Celebrity stylists Wayman and Micah curated the look, and Tiffany confirmed it was custom-made, especially for her.

Like many other guests at the Oscars, Tiffany changed into a second dress for the after-party hosted by Vanity Fair. Her second outfit was a similar style, although the material and color differed. It was a velvet lime green mermaid skirt strapless gown with a Swarovski crystal-encrusted princess-cut bodice, and she added a sheer scarf to the ensemble. The skirt's train was also longer than the first dress, and it trailed behind as she strutted across her hallway.

Tiffany rocked her dyed blonde natural hair in a finger curl and wore brown-themed makeup. The Girls Trip actress accessorized her looks with Pomellato jewelry pieces from the bold emerald green pendant (The Little Princess) for her first look to a gold link chain set for her after-party dress.

Pomellato described the first jewelry thus,

"A one-of-a-kind necklace from La Gioia 2022 High Jewellery Collection in white gold encrusted with 2,143 hand set diamonds and a central breath-taking 54.27 carats cabochon green tourmaline. She paired this stunning necklace with Nudo diamond earrings, a Catene Collection knot ring in rose gold encrusted with 392 white diamonds and Iconica band ring in rose gold with 109 hand-set diamonds."

After spending so much on those masterpieces, we can understand why Tiffany took offense when Zima called her outfit change, "a little costume change." She immediately corrected the reporter with a read,

"I’m not wearing a costume, I’m wearing Dolce & Gabbana. It’s called an evening gown, darling. No one’s paying me. I paid for this. This is custom. Thank you. This is not an act, this is my life. This is what fame look like. This what success look like. This what money look like."
