Salma Hayek had an important message to share on International Women's Day. Posting on Instagram under the "IWD2022" hashtag, the 55-year-old House of Gucci star fronted the luxury fashion house once again as she went pantsless to stand for generation equality.

Putting her point across by way of a graphic tee, she posed front-to-back in the Gucci item, part of a special capsule collection called "Chime for Change" unveiled on March 8.

Centered around the theme of generation equality, the new capsule collection comes with its own logo, which was prominently featured on Hayek's chest. In bold shades of yellow and electric blue, it also adorned the red baseball cap she wore, suggesting the new Gucci drop is less glam and more hip.

Vibrant was the word of the day for the Eternals star, who went bold in neon-orange, flashing her lean legs in a baggy T-shirt that was inscribed with the words "Generation Equality" on the front. In classic Salma Hayek fashion, the ageless beauty finished off the look with sky-high heels, sporting a crimson-and-gold set embellished with yellow roses.

Rocking her long locks styled in messy waves, Hayek pulled her hair to the side to reveal the message on the back of her tee. Printed in the same vivid blue shade, it read: "None of us can move forward if half of us are held back."

In her caption, the "Chime for Change" advocate, who has long been involved in Gucci's longstanding global campaign aiming "to convene, unite and strengthen the voices speaking out for gender equality," detailed its mission "to help call for accelerated progress towards a gender-equal future."

"Celebrating equality on International Women’s Day," wrote the actress and producer, who was honored with the Individual Achievement Award for her work at the Salma Hayek Foundation and Chime for Change in 2015 (pictured above), with Jennifer Aniston showing her support with a double-tap on the post.

Shouting out the Gucci Equilibrium community in her post, Hayek also tagged the Continental Network of Indigenous Women (ECMIA) and the nonprofit organization Young Feminist Europe, two of the entities partnering with Gucci to "directly support feminist organizations, groups, and activists led by communities who have been historically marginalized," per the Gucci Equilibrium website. The "ActForEqual" hashtag was also included.

Fans were delighted to learn about the initiative, commending Hayek's "admirable" involvement in the comments. Others were content to simply shower her with effusive praise, telling the silver-screen siren "you never get old."

Hayek is not the only celebrity throwing her support behind the Chime for Change campaign. Gucci face Miley Cyrus is also backing the initiative.

"We really can be Generation Equality,” she said in a video message shared on the Gucci Equilibrium Instagram page. "I don't want to wait for the next generation to make it happen. I want to see generation equality in my lifetime." Watch it below!

Hayek has a long-standing relationship with Gucci. The movie star is married to Kering CEO François-Henri Pinault, who owns multiple top fashion brands, including Yves Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, and, of course, Gucci.

Likewise, Cyrus has teamed up with the Italian high-end luxury brand for its latest campaigns, including the 2021-released Flora Fantasy.
