It’s Super Bowl Time! Last Minute Fantabulous Festive Foods To Wow Your Guests

It’s Super Bowl Time again! That means parties, yummy food, wild commercials, and having a good time with friends. Oh, and football too, of course.

Super Bowl 2015 promises a hubbub of activity and good-natured competition. Show your guests that you are definitely the hostess (or host) with the mostest and leave them talking about your dishes for many Super Bowls to come. Some of these recipes are super simple, and some require a bit more effort, but they are all sure to please.

Pinterest is my favorite place to find new recipes. The variety of creative recipes never disappoint. No matter how much time I have — 10 minutes or the whole day — I can find something awesome to put together. Here are a few of the more festive Super Bowl snack recipes I found. Follow the links for instructions and detailed pictures. I hope you enjoy!

1.) The Snackadium — This is the ultimate snack tray. Shaped like a football stadium, it incorporates many of the classic Super Bowl favorites into one piece. Chips, small sandwiches, and a field of taco dip (guacamole, salsa, and cheese) with a wall created of Rice Krispies treats will appeal to every palate from salty to sweet. Maybe a bit time-consuming, but worth the effort. Have a wine party and invite a few friends over a little early to help assemble this festive feast.

2.) Football Bites — You can’t go wrong with this classic. Summer sausage, cheese, and crackers are a staple for many parties, but with this quick twist they can be customized for your Super Bowl party. The best thing: You probably already have the ingredients in your pantry, and they take almost no time at all!

3.) Super Bowl Cookies and Cream Dip — Cream cheese, Oreo cookies, and cocoa powder for the outer coating. A little bit of mixing and shaping, and voila, you have a huge sweet treat for your football fans.

4.) Football Cheese Plate — Another combination of cheese, crackers, and summer sausage. As you might be able to tell, this is one of my favorite snacks. Arrange all the ingredients on a platter and shape the sausage like a football. In no time at all, you have a festive treat fit for any Super Bowl party.

5.) Mississippi Sin Dip — The name alone is intriguing. Ham, cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, green onion, and more all mixed together to form a delicious snack. Insert it into a scooped-out loaf of any darker bread, and you have a football themed appetizer in minutes.

Whatever you have planned for the day, Super Bowl time is sure to find you enjoying the company of family and friends. Which team are you rooting for? Will the Super Bowl victory go to the New England Patriots or the Seattle Seahawks?
