Sinead O’Connor- the Irish singer who has seemingly never managed to do something not controversial over the course of her career- got married in Vegas a few weeks ago after a very brief courtship.

Prior to committing a fourth time to the institution of marriage, O’Connor had been publicly complaining of sexual frustration as well as eyeing up certain phallic vegetables in her desperation. And by her description, the wedding night in Vegas was a bit of a clusterfracas, with a quest for some dope landing her in a crack den.

When announcing the divorce after sixteen days of marriage, O’Connor wrote:

“there was intense pressure placed upon him by certain people in his life, not to be involved with me. Within 3 hours of the ceremony being over the marriage was kyboshed by the behaviour of certain people in my husband’s life and also by a bit of a wild ride i took us on looking for a bit of a smoke of weed for me wedding night as I don’t drink.”

However, O’Connor wrote in Twitter stone today that the marriage is back on. I mean, who wants to throw away sixteen days over a little matter of honeymooning in a crack den? Nobody. And certainly not Sinead O’Connor. (Did we mention she has an album to promote right now?)

The reconciliation can be reasonably inferred from O’Connor’s tweets, in which she writes:

yay!!! me husband is a big hairy cave man an came to claim me with his club : ) and now im in cave-land.. yay!! we both go panto!

A subscriber asks if the tweet means the divorce is off, to which O’Connor responds:

Yup that’s wot it means. An I can add to my lingerie collection. Size uk 12 btw for anyone wanting to send any. 36b. : )

Irish singer Sinead O’Connor proves that nothing good can come out of a drive thru wedding in Las Vegas.  Sinead, who was married for the fourth time this year, ended her romance after just 16 days she announced on her website.

O’Connor and boyfriend Barry Herridge tied the knot while celebrating the star’s 45th birthday in Las Vegas

In a released statement the singer said “there was intense pressure placed upon him by certain people in his life, not to be involved with me. Sinead O’Connor divorced her third husband Steve Cooney earlier this year..  After their split, O’Connor wrote on her blog that her marriage had been nothing but sexual frustration for her and she was open for business looking for a new lover.

She was previously married to music producer John Reynolds and journalist Nicholas Sommerlad and has four children.

Backstreet Boys singer A.J. McLean, 33, and girlfriend Rochelle DeAnna Karidis wed this weekend in an outdoor wedding that took place on the Crystal Lawn of the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The couple exchanged vows under a gazebo that was adorned with white hydrangeas while guests sat in chairs adorned with romantic items including chandeliers.

McLean wore a traditional tuxedo with a red bow tie and was surrounded before the wedding by his grooms men.

Just one day before the event the boy band member tweeted:

“Wedding is tomorrow,” and “Ro and I could barely sleep last night. I think we’re a little excited.”

After exchanging vows outside the venue the couple and their wedding guests then proceeded into the Crystal ballroom where they ate and then danced the night away.

A.J. and Rochelle have already been cozily living with one another after moving from Hollywood into the Valley earlier this year where they said more space would allow them to “raise a family.”

In the meantime A.J. McLean told PEOPLE that the happy couple are in no rush to start popping out kids now that they are married. He said of their current situation:

“I think we’ll be married for about three years before we have kids,” he added.

Fernando Brazier, 28, and girlfriend Trudian Hay, 26, had been dating since they were in high school and have two children together, however their journey took a sad turn on Saturday after the couple wed and hours later Fernando threw himself into the Harlem River, taking his own life in the process.

Waking up the morning after their wedding Hay says she found a note from her newlywed husband at the hotels front desk, in the note he left his wedding ring with a note that said he “couldn’t take it anymore.”

According to the bride’s sister:

“He said [in the note] he couldn’t take it anymore, and to take care of the kids.”

News of Brazier’s suicidal tendency is nothing new to his family, he recently went to counseling with Hay and his sister says of his recent mood leading up to the wedding:

“He would tell me that Trudy is a good person, [but] he didn’t want to marry her; he was feeling like he was pressured.”

Meanwhile his brother tells the New York Post that he wanted his children raised in one home:

“He always said, ‘Certain things, you have to do.”

According to those in attendance at his wedding reception he looked happy as he danced with his bride although his aunt says that before the wedding when asked if he wanted to go through with it he said:

“It’s too late now.”

It’s not very often that “till death do you part” is so short lived.

The advent of mobile phones, especially with text messaging, is making it easier for everyone to communicate. We send and receive text messages from anywhere.

In fact, this woman took it a notch higher by sending a text message during her own wedding.

The wedding videographer, Jim Costa, caught the bride pulling the cellphone straight from the top of her dress, seemed to read a text message, and responding by simply using her one hand.

“It was otherwise perfectly normal except for this one funny clip of the bride texting just after her dad walked her down the aisle! At one point, I noticed her doing it through my lens and I had to pull away form the camera to make certain I was seeing what I thought I was seeing. The minister was busy reading his opening comments and her back was to everyone in attendance. I was the only one to see her. Her dad glanced over at her and then saw me doing a double take and began to laugh out loud!”

We can just hope that no texting happened during the honeymoon.

Paul McCartney has married fiance and American heiress Nancy Shevell at a ceremony held at the Old Marylebone Town Hall register office, the same location where he married first wife Linda McCartney in 1998.

Shevell, 51, is an American Heiress to a multi-billion haulage fortune and according to snoops she was far more liked by daughter Stella McCartney than previous wife Heather Mills who famously feuded with Stella. In fact the white wedding dress with long-sleeves Shevell chose to wear for the ceremony was designed by Stella. Paul wore a dark suit with a white shirt and blue tie for the ceremony.

While the ceremony was closed to the public hundreds of fans had been slowly gathering outside of the registry since September 29 in anticipation that the Beatle and his fiance would soon wed.

According to fans the wedding party spent just over an hour inside the building before emerging where fans and family members threw confetti in celebration of McCartney’s newest nuptials.

After the wedding a reception was held at the couples home in St John Wood.

When asked how he felt about being married again Paul responded:

“Terrific, thank you. I feel married,” adding, “I feel absolutely wonderful.”

Before this marriage Mrs. Shevell was married to American lawyer Bruce Blakeman for 20 years.

Shevell and McCartney first announced their engagement in May, four years after they met in the Hampton’s area and began dating.

When asked if she’ll stay in New York where she is a board members for the transportation authority and vice-president of her family haulage business she said she would “love” to stay in the wouldn’t United States but would “probably” move to England.

Congrats to Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi, who were married Saturday afternoon after announcing their engagement just three months ago! Their rep confirmed to PEOPLE that “[They] were married tonight in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles” in an exclusive report.

It sounds like the whole thing was pretty romantic, too: De Rossi’s mom flew in from Australia for the ceremony and the two even swapped handwritten vows. Oh, and did I mention that they were even outfitted in the same designer? Both girls wore Zac Posen, with Portia in a light pink gown and Ellen in an all-white suit.

Everybody loves a happy couple.
