Like most ‘evidence’ of extraterrestrial presence on Earth, the ‘alien skull’ is remarkably humanoid in appearance- with standard human-esque features aside from the elongated shape of the skull. (Critics of UFO believers have often suggested that the likelihood alien species would resemble humans so closely is low.) Some theorize that the skull is that of a hydrocephalic child, and anthropologists are said to have arrived in the city of Andahuaylillas in the southern province of Quispicanchi in Peru to study the strange artifact.

London’s Daily Mail quoted the person who discovered the skull, Davila Riquelme, who claims the anthropologists from Spain and Russia “agreed [the skull] was ‘not a human being’” and would “conduct further studies.” The paper says:

‘Although the assessment was superficial, it is obvious that its features do not correspond to any ethnic group in the world.’

The remains of an eyeball in the right socket will help determine its genetic DNA – and clear up the controversy if it is human or not.

Another possible explanation for the skull is tribal ritual, which has in certain regions been known to involve skull modification. The practice has been known to occur for at least the past 9,000 years, and the paper says:

To achieve the desired shape, the head was wrapped in tight cloth. In the case of cranial flattening, the head was placed between two pieces of wood. The technique would usually be carried out on an infant, when the skull is at its most pliable. The cloth would be applied from a month after birth and be held in place for about six months.

Blogs are buzzing today about the odd, suspiciously perfect spiral shape seen in the night sky over Norway on December 8th-9th.

Although many people cried “shopped!” almost immediately, the image was carried across the Norwegian news from several different sources and appears to at least be an accurate version of what appeared in the sky- although what may have caused it is up for debate. A blog on the Seattle Post-Intelligencer quotes an astronomer who believes the phenomenon may have been caused by a rocket launch:

…(Phil) Plait said: “A rocket got out of control, perhaps losing a stabilizer, and started to spiral. The two spirals, different in shape, size, and color, indicate something happened in the middle of all this (the rocket second stage fired while still spinning, or something else started leaking out), changing the rocket’s direction. Then, when the fuel or whatever ran out, the white spiral began to disappear from the inside out as the material expanded in space.”

The blog goes on to posit that the most likely suspects in such a scenario are the Russians, but that they’re denying it. Wired guessed it was viral marketing for the newish show V. The Daily Mail thinks a missile/rocket is likely too, but isn’t discounting UFOs as a cause for the light show.

So there has been a bit of buzz that a UFO showed up at the Obama inauguration. If you were going to come several million light years, this could feasibly be the event you showed up to. Even the Westboro Church were at the inauguration, actually someone should look into this link.

Here is the best video footage to date. Watch the Monument and just before the 12 second mark of the video something, which some people are calling a UFO flashes past and disappears.

Fake? Or is it some kind of sign? Make up your own mind, and add any mind numbing logical explanations below. Personally, I think the little green men rocked up to join the rest of the world in wishing Obama well.

A wind turbine in England has been destroyed, and one of it’s 65 foot long blades is missing in a strange case locals are blaming on UFO’s.

Locals started reporting strange “flashing orangey-yellow spheres over Lincolnshire” the evening before the mystery destruction. Then at 4am, locals heard a “massive bang” and reported lights in the vicinity of the noise. By dawn, what you see in the above picture was what remained, and the missing blade on the wind turbine was no where to be found.

Just for good measure, some locals claim the UFO’s had arms like an Octopus!

According to The Sun, local authorities can’t explain what occurred with the wind turbine. Health and safety officials said even the strongest gale could not have caused the damage and are calling it a “unique incident.” The wind farm company Ecotricity said “We don’t know what caused the problem. We are investigating.”

UFO researchers are naturally “very excited” with the incident. Notably the reports of UFO’s in the area came in before the wind turbine was destroyed. Records show there were no aircraft in the area at the time of the initial UFO reports, or at the time of the incident.

Video taken in Turkey earlier this year allegedly shows unprecedented detailed footage of UFOs visiting earth.

The footage was captured by night guard Yalcin Yalman in a compound in Turkey, and handed over to the Sirius UFO Space Science Research Centre for confirmation. The video below is a 16 minute version of the highlights from over two and a half hours of UFO footage.

After running extensive testing on the footage, and confirming independent sitings of UFOs in the area at the same time, the center is claiming the footage isn’t faked, and that it’s the best evidence yet that we are not alone in the universe.

The video has to be seen to be believed. It’s a case of Aliens being real, or this being the most elaborate scam of all time, because that’s how incredible this footage is compared to what we’ve come to expect from so-called “UFO evidence” in the past. I want to believe….and at least one shot shows a craft not completely dissimilar to the flying cookie picture we covered last week.

We want to believe, we really do, but a new photo published by the UK Tabloid The Sun and claimed to be “one of the most important ever pieces of evidence of alien life” shows a cream filled chocolate cookie flying over Dudley in the United Kingdom.

The photo is said to have been taken by a 57-year-old nanny on a day out last April, and handed over to a police detective who collects UFO sightings.
