Travelling a few hours each way is as about as bad as it gets for the majority of people that have to commute back and forth to work. Imagine though if you had to traverse these kind of roads everyday.

This is really cool and how I wish I could actually go to the Maldives and eat in this totally unique restaurant.

The Ithaa Undersea restaurant sits sixteen feet below sea level and provides diners with a 180° view of the reef and marine life. The restaurant which is owned by Conrad Maldives Rangli Island Hotel in Rangalifinolhu in the Maldives seats a total of 14 people at a time but no children under the age of 12 are allowed.

Usually when an airplane crew is in need of help the call goes out to see if there is a doctor on board. For the passengers and crew of a Thomas Cook flight from Menorca however it wasn’t a doctor they were in need of but rather an airplane engineer.

The holidaymakers were advised that unfortunately they would be experiencing an eight delay of their flight due to a mechanical problem. It seems that the problem required that an engineer had to be flown out from the UK in order to fix it. This was the point when one of the passengers identified themselves as an airplane engineer who was more than qualified to fix the problem.

A spokeswoman for Thomas Cook said the company followed strict procedures to ensure the man was qualified to work on the aircraft, a Boeing 757-200, during the incident on Saturday.

The passenger worked for another airline, Thomsonfly, which has a reciprocal maintenance agreement with Thomas Cook.

"When they announced there was a technical problem he came forward and said who he was, " she said.

"We checked his licence and verified he was who he said he was, and he was able to fix the problem to avoid the delay.

Needless to say his fellow passengers where very happy especially since they arrived at their destination only 35 minutes late.

Remember when Diddy was crying about his jet being too expensive and having to fly commercial? It turns out that the jet was actually “his.” I love it:

“Federal aviation records don’t show Diddy as the registered owner of any private jet. A source said, ‘I have a list of every plane with the name of the owner, and he’s not on it.’ Did they check all 10,000 of his names?”

It turns out that he pays by the hour with a fractional ownership. It’s still better than a lot of us, but when you hold yourself to mega-star standards. . . you get judged, and judged hard. Touche, you big baby!

Amidst the overpriced snacks and beverages, Best Buy has rolled out this automated electronics dispenser at the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, the Dallas Morning News discovered. Inside everything from blank discs to headphones and even a full-fledged iPod awaits you — if you don’t mind, of course, paying the presumably inflated price.

Wonder if there’s a button to get an unhelpful store associate, too.
