Square Enix released a brand new trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution earlier today. This one is a story-focused, conspiracy-filled trailer that focuses on the setting of Deus Ex. You’re not going to find any gameplay in this one, but if you’re into conspiracies and other such forms of intrigue, you’ll probably enjoy it.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on August 23 in North America, August 25 in Australia, August 26 in Europe and September 8 in Japan.

IGN managed to get their hands on the debut trailer for Fallout New Vegas‘ upcoming DLC ‘Old World Blues’.

If you’d like to get a better feel of what the DLC will offer, this trailer is as good a way as any to do it. If you’ve been keeping up with Old World Blues, however, this might turn out to be.. not exactly what you expected. It’s crazy, but crazy of the charming kind.

Undoubtedly to help ease the pain of the Monday blues, Warner Bros. Interactive has let loose a new Batman: Arkham City trailer featuring the ‘puzzling’ villain, The Riddler.

Unlike his minor cameos in Batman: Arkham Asylum, Riddler will play a more prominent role in Arkham City alongside the rest of the villainous cast. Going by the trailer, it looks like Riddler will be setting up a few Saw-inspired challenges that tasks Batman with saving innocents from certain doom. There isn’t a great deal of gameplay to be seen, but it’s still a nice watch.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, the sequel to the 1987 hit Oliver Stone movie Wall Street is out soon, and a new clip from the movie has been released.

The clip shows Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas) taking Bretton Woods (Josh Brolin) to task for his business practices.

Out September 24, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps also stars Shia LaBeouf, Frank Langella, Carey Mulligan, Susan Sarandon and Vanessa Ferlito.

Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day finally got its release date, and will be in limited theaters on Friday. (October 30th.)

We posted the trailer back at the beginning of September, but Film Drunk posted the first five minutes, and it looks so much delightfully worse than the first one. It’s almost sad in a way- I’m one of the people who views the internet as a great equalizer and who rejects the idea that only established establishment people can create things of worth, but it’s still hard for me to look at these two movies and not think that perhaps things like making films should be left to people like filmmakers. And I hate thinking that.

Troy Duffy still makes movies like the ones my nine year old puts on in the backyard, or so it would appear. The film starts with the McManus boys hiding out in what looks like 1860′s Ireland, a place with no indoor plumbing or electricity and clearly no SuperMac nearby either. Wearing Aran sweaters and being all unshaven with their dad Il Duce (played by Billy Connolly), an old priest friend from Boston comes to tell them (because they’re the only people in Ireland without mobile phones) that someone has murdered their favorite priest and framed the brothers for it.

So Connor and Murphy go outside and shave their craggy beards and take some ass-flashing showers, and dig up their buried treasure chest of money, guns and rosary beads. (Yay for another shower scene!) And then there’s some dialogue that sums up the Boondock Saints movies in like, two lines:

Priest, looking at Connor and Murphy all gunned up and tattooed: Exactly what do you intend to do?

Connor: Every last motherf***er that had anything to do with it.

All that said, I cannot wait to see this cinematic abortion of a film. Watch the first five minutes of Boondock Saints: All Saints Day below:

I grew up reading Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes and still have fond memories of seeing t he sun come up as I turned the last few pages of many of the classic tales. There has been many a movie and television rendition of Sherlock Holmes through the years but none of them – that I remember – ever depicted my childhood hero as an action star.

That could very well change with the upcoming release of of Guy Ritchie’s re-imaging of the character. While we won’t be seeing the movie until Christmas Day FirstShowing.net has the freshly minted two minute long television trailer up. Thanks to the wonders of embedding and their kindness in sharing here is your first good look at what might be in store for us and I gotta tell you I am now really looking forward to this movie.

Sherlock Holmes as an action star? is a post from: The Inquisitr

The follow-up to Boondock Saints, Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day seems to actually be a reality, and the trailer has finally hit the web.

For the uninitiated, Boondock Saints is a 1999 cult film about two ostensibly Oirish “Irish” brothers who are given a message from God while being briefly held in a prison to violently kill as many “bad men” as possible. Notable for shockingly over-the-top dialogue and a batshit crazy director, (Troy Duffy, the subject of a film solely about how he single-handedly tanked his own career) Boondock Saints developed a large fan base despite having never had a real theatrical release. Willem Dafoe’s performance as a self-hating gay FBI agent nearly redeemed the film- it was as if he was acting in a different movie altogether, separate from the heinous performances of those around him. (Note: I still love this movie.)

The trailer looks like it’s taken the so bad it’s good theme and not only run with it, but eloped to Las Vegas with it and knocked it up. Norman Reedus as Murphy appears to have dropped the attempt at an Irish accent completely, but Sean Patrick Flanery as Conner still seems to be chugging along with it, talking about his “brudder.” Even as you watch the trailer, you can sense the whole of Ireland recoiling in horror and shame at the raping of a brogue. Furthermore, the lack of any knowledge on what Ireland is actually like seems to have persisted into the second film:

The two have been in deep hiding in the quiet valleys of Ireland, far removed from their former lives or modern technologies. When word comes that a priest has been killed by sinister forces in the tough underworld of Boston, they return to mount a violent and bloody crusade to bring justice to those who must now suffer the consequences…

Sadly, Dafoe did not return as Agent “there was a firefight!” Smucker, but a lady-cop female FBI agent is being introduced as his protege and is almost sure to come between the brothers McManus. Billy Connolly reprises his role of Il Duce with gleeful abandon, spouting lines that sound like they all want badly to be catchphrases. And continuity- did Conner and Murphy’s Veritas and Aequitas tattoos move from their forearms to their hands?

The film is said to have a release date of October 30th (no word on whether there will be another set of out-takes with naked shower wrestling.) Clip below:

Brozen Lizard, the team behind Super Troopers, Club Dread, and Beerfest is back in 2009 with a new film The Slammin’ Salmon.

The film in centered on the owner of a restaurant indebted to the mob, who initiates a contest to see which of his waiters can earn the most money in a single night.

The film makes it debut at the Slamdance Film Festival January 17. The wider release date has not been set.
