Okay, it’s not much more than a listing of who’s going to be in the movie; which when you think about it could just as easily be done by listing the action super star who isn’t in it.

Needless to say the action looks like it might be pretty good, the acting with be the typical action super star type acting *cough* *cough*, and the plot line will be .. well .. probably on the thin side.

All said an done I still want to see it because I’m a sucker for the good old leave your brain at the door and cheer on the blood, gore and needless violence type of movie.

Deus Ex was one of my favorite games back in the day and like every other fan it was one of those games we always wanted a sequel to, and as we know there is one called Deus Ex: Human Revolution and it is full of all kinds of gaming goodness.

In the lead up to its release we have been getting the occasional teaser video being released but today IGN has made available a 12 minute look at the game along with a background discussion about the game with the game director Jean-Francois Dugas.

Our very first look at Gears of War 3‘s undoubtedly epic singleplayer campaign debuted during the UEFA Champion League soccer finals last night between Barcelona and Manchester United. If you’re not much of a soccer fan or you just missed it, the trailer is now available on the web for your viewing pleasure.

Gears of War fans have already had the chance to sample the game’s multiplayer offerings, with a successful beta running since April 18 on up until recently. The trailer highlights something we haven’t seen much since the game’s announcement, and lets us in a bit on just how the conclusion to the epic trilogy will play out — and, going by the trailer, it looks like we have quite a lot in store for us.

The trailer shows us many of the game’s epic set pieces, new and improved baddies for Marcus and crew to take down, and even a glimpse of a character previously assumed to be dead. Things are going to get pretty wild in the final chapter, basically.

If the end of the Gears of War 3 beta left you needing your fix, this trailer will just have to do until the game releases this September.

I am not a Harry Potter fan by any stretch of the imagination and haven’t seen one of the movies or read one of the books but I might have to reconsider after looking at this trailer (probably by morning my sanity will return). In its time Deus Ex was an incredible game and it has continued to draw faithful followers over the years even though it was surpassed many times over by other games. That however could change this coming February when Deus Ex: Human Evolution is released for the Xbox 360 and PS3 (Oh No .. no PC release .. please tell me that isn’t so!). There is even a rumor floating around that Hollywood is taking a serious look at it as a possible movie – which, once you watch the trailer you will totally understand why.

It looks like the long awaited sequel to an already awesome game is just gonna rock.

I came across this great sci-fi movie short over at the Quiet Earth blog via a post by Alex Billington at FirstShowing.net. Now Alex isn’t all that hot over the video that has been getting a lot of web-play since being dropped on the web but I thought it was really cool and wanted to share.

It should also be mentioned that the director of this little gem, Federico Alvarez, has just signed a movie deal worth $30 to $40 million with Ghost House Picture for a script yet to be written. Who says good things can’t happen to people with imagination eh.

Check out the trailer for Dance Flick.  The “teen angst, coming of age, kid from the wrong side of the tracks makes it by dancing his/her heart out” genre is just begging for someone to make a spoof.  The Wayan Brothers have obliged.  Whist all the best bits are usually in the trailer, it actually made me laugh out loud.

Check out the clip, there are references to every major dance movie hit in there, including Flashdance.
