Brandon Jacobs is apologizing for comments he made about Gisele Bundchen on Tuesday. The Giants’ running back told reporters at MetLife Stadium about Gisele,

“She just needs to continue to stay cute and shut up.”

He went on the “The Doug Gottlieb Show” on ESPN Radio on Wednesday to issue a formal apology for telling Tom Brady’s wife to shut up.

He said,

“Given the fact that it’s a colleague of mine’s wife, I do apologize for saying that, because I shouldn’t have said that. It’s his wife and I should respect that just as much as anyone else.”

He didn’t apologize for saying she was cute though, insisting it was a compliment.

“No question, he should take that as a compliment,” Jacobs said of Brady. “If he finds something wrong with that, then that’s his problem.”

The scandal that prompted Jacobs to tell her to shut up in the first place was right after the game Gisele Bundchen was caught on camera complaining about the Patriots receivers dropping too many balls during the Super Bowl.

She said,

“My husband cannot f—– throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times,”

Patriots receivers Wes Welker, Deion Branch and tight end Aaron Hernandez all dropped some pretty easy catches during the Patriots loss to the Giants. Tom Brady has been silent on the dropped passes and instead defended his teammates.

Of Welker he said,

“Wes is a phenomenal player and a teammate. I love that guy.”

Do you think that Gisele Bundchen should just stay cute and shut up or that she has a right to stick up for her husband?

Gisele Bundchen blamed the New England Patriots’ loss at Super Bowl XLVI on the terrible play of Tom Brady’s receivers, but some say the loss may have been caused by Brady’s cursed relationship to the supermodel.

The Business Insider writes that Brady has brought the Patriots to the Super Bowl an amazing five times during his 10-year career and he has helped the team win three of those times. All of Brady’s wins, however, came before he started dating supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

The Patriots have failed to win a Super Bowl after Tom Brady started dating the model in December of 2007. They’ve made it the Super Bowl twice since the relationship started, but have failed to take home a win. The drought has led some to believe that Brady’s and Bundchen’s relationship is cursed.

A curse, however, is probably a little extreme. But after Bundchen’s disparaging comments after Super Bowl XLVI, Patriots fans are accepting any and all reasons to dislike Brady’s wife.

After the game, Bundchen said:

“My husband can’t f***ing throw and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.”

The players have been well-behaved and haven’t responded to Gisele’s comments, but one Patriots player’s wife told Extra TV:

“Gisele has very few friends among the wives. Of course, many are jealous of her looks and all that, but she doesn’t make it easy to like her, since she obviously feels so superior to all of us.”

Do you think Gisele Bundchen has cursed the Patriots? Will Tom Brady win another Super Bowl while he’s married to Gisele?

New York Giants fan Jona Rechnitz was so convinced that his Giants would start out Super Bowl XVLI with a safety against the New England Patriots that he bet $1,000 on the unlikely play, a bet that netted him 50 to 1 payout odds.

If you’re keeping score at home that means he won $50,000 plus his initial $1000 when that exact play was the first scoring drive of Super Bowl XLVI.

The safety came after Patriots quarterback Tom Brady intentionally grounded the ball in his teams own endzone, a safety infraction that paid Jona $50,000.

If the story ended there it would be a nice payday for Jona however he’s already a successful real estate company owner in New York and now he has said the winnings he earned will go to various charities, including $5,000 for Brady’s charities of choice and $5,000 to the charities of choice for the Giants defensive linemen who forced the safety.

Jona also says he would love to take Tom Brady out to an all-expenses played dinner.

After taxes the remaining sum of winnings will be donated to charities that help the less fortunate in the United States.

The gambler says he doesn’t put a lot of money down on the table, in fact he only makes one football bet each year and it’s always on the Super Bowl.

In the end the Super Bowl’s first starting drive safety of all-time has paid off well for people in need, even if Tom Brady is probably still kicking himself over his teams second Super Bowl loss to Eli Manning and the New York Giants in just four years.

Last night, the New York Giants beat the New England Patriots at Super Bowl XLVI. Eli Manning and Tom Brady both put in great performances as last night’s game set 8 new NFL records.

Manning, who opened the game with nine straight completions (an NFL record) said:

“Offensively, I thought we played very well. We played smart. There at the end, when we had an opportunity in the fourth quarter, we’d been in those situations and we knew that we had no more time left. We had to go down and score, and guys stepped up and made great plays.”

Manning threw 30-40 for 296 yards and one TD last night to help Tom Coughlin become the oldest Head Coach to win the Super Bowl at age 65.

Steve Weatherford also had a record breaking game to help the Giants win Super Bowl XLVI. Weatherford put three punts inside the 10-yard line last night, a new NFL record.

The rest of the records were set by Tom Brady and the losing Giants.

Brady threw 16 consecutive completions during Super Bowl XLVI. His performance last night also set a few new career records for the Pats’ QB. Brady brought up his total passing yards during a Super Bowl to 1,277, his total passes to 197, and his total completions to 127.

The Giants and Patriots also combined to set a new record for the most passing first downs (33).

Here are all the records set last night, according to the NY Times:

Tom Coughlin - Oldest Winning Head Coach – 65

Eli Manning – Most Consecutive Completions To Start Game – 9

Tom Brady – Most Consecutive Completions – 16

Tom Brady – Most Passing Yards, Career – 1,277

Tom Brady – Most Passes, Career – 197

Tom Brady – Most Completions, Career – 127

Steve Weatherford – Most Punts Inside 10, Game – 3

Most First Downs Passing, Game, Both Teams – 33 (N.Y.Giants 18, New England 15)

Super Bowl XLVI also tied several records.

Tom Brady tied Matt Light’s record for Most Super Bowl starts (5). New England’s 96-yard Touchdown drive tied an NFL record. The Giants tied records for fewest turnovers (0), most safeties (1), fewest rushing touchdowns (0), and fewest interceptions (o). New England had no penalty first downs, no punt returns, and no fumbles.

Did you watch Super Bowl XLVI?

According to Mashable, Super Bowl XLVI also set a few new Twitter records. At the end of the game Twitter saw 2,233 tweets per second (2nd most on the TPS list). The social networking site saw 10,245 tweets per <a title="M.I.A.

Supermodel and Super Wifey of Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen, was not so close lipped when it came to who she thought should shoulder the blame for the Patriots 21-17 Super Bowl loss to the New York Giants. She told her friends that the blame lies with the receivers.

Amid the ridicule of heckling Giants fans, Gisele went over to an elevator after the game witg some freinds to go see Tom Brady.

While she was waiting she said to her friends,

“I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times. My husband can not f**king throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time.”

The sad part about her little rant is she may have been partially correct. The receivers did drop the ball (pun intended) many times when it came to the crushing second loss to the Giants.

Brady was not the type to lay blame at any one player’s feet. When asked about Wes Welker’s potential game winning catch (which he dropped) Brady told the press that the two simply “failed to connect”.

He then told the press of Welker,

“Wes is a phenomenal player and a teammate. I love that guy.”

Bundchen did leave out quite a few details that had nothing to do with the receivers. She failed to mention the “Pass to No One that Brady threw on the first New England possession which drew an intentional grounding penalty and cost them two points on a safety. She forgot to mention that the whole team could not get their mojo working until they got to the second quarter and she definitely left out the fact that Brady’s top tight end, Gronkowski was hurt an unable to play very well.

Bundchen took a lot of flack this week. First Versace announced a new ad campaign featuring Bundchen, which stole some of her husband’s thunder. She was mocked for sending out an e-mail to all her friends asking them to pray for Tommy.

Do you think it was appropriate for Gisele Bundchen to mock the Patriots receivers?

Today, Tom Brady will be playing in one of the biggest games of his life, but this morning. The New England Patriot’s quarterback is one of the top trending terms on Google and Yahoo, but so is his wife Gisele Bundchen, who just posed topless for a new Versace ad.

US Magazine reports that the 31-year-old Brazilian beauty is the new face of Versace’s spring/summer 2012 collection.

Gisele Bundchen has gone topless for Versace’s new denim campaign, covering her bare breasts with nothing but a denim jacket. The new ad, which features plenty of Bundchen skin, was shot by photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

And although Bundchen may be drawing a few eyes away from her husband’s football game, the supermodel is encouraging all of her fans to pray for the New England Patriots to win Super Bowl XLVI.

Bundchen said:

“I feel Tommy really needs our prayer, our support and love at this time. I kindly ask all of you to join me on this positive chain and pray for him, so he can feel confident, healthy and strong. Envision him happy and fulfilled experiencing with his team a victory this Sunday.”

What do you think of Gisel Bundchen’s new ad? Do you think her prayers will help Tom Brady win Super Bowl XLVI?

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen may be a supermodel married to big deal football star Tom Brady, but she’s not above turning to God for the odd favor every once in a while.

In fact, as Brady gears up for Sunday’s Superbowl featuring the New England Patriots against the New York Giants, Bundchen is not only praying for her man to do well- she’s recruiting “close friends and family” via email to do the same for him. The email was obtained by the New York Post, and given the showdown coming this weekend, the paper was not very flattering in writing up the plea.

The paper describes the missive as “hardly the stuff of Knute Rockne,” and “filled with a touchy-feely request for ‘positive’ thinking that one might expect from a Brazilian catwalk stunner-especially one concerned for her loved one’s safety against Big Blue’s fierce pass rush.” Snap. In response to their decision to publish the email, which we’ve copied in full below, Bundchen only said that she was “surprised that [the Post] received this e-mail; it was a private note only sent to close friends and family.”

Do you think printing private emails not really pertaining to newsworthy events is uncool for newspapers to do? Was Gisele Bundchen’s privacy violated by the Post?

“My sweet friends and family… This sunday will be a really important day in my husband’s life. He and his team worked so hard to get to this point and now they need us more than ever to send them positive energy so they can fulfill their dream of winning this super bowl . . .

“So I kindly ask all of you to join me on this positive chain and pray for him, so he can feel confident, healthy and strong. Envision him happy and fulfilled experiencing with his team a victory this sunday.

“Thank you for your love and support. Love, G ”

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady says the upcoming Superbowl XLVI matchup against the New York Giants will be a “great rematch” between the teams following the Giants 24-20 win over the Patriots during week 9 plat at Gillette Stadium. The “great rematch” is also a repeat of Super Bowl XLII in which the giants upset the Patriots to destroy their perfect 19-0 season.

Speaking to Boston sports radio station WEEI on Monday Tom Brady says of that Super Bowl match:

“I still can’t watch highlights from that game,” and “I think that’s just the way it is. You get to the end and we had a great opportunity there and really squandered it because we didn’t play our very best.”

One thing is certain, Tom Brady will need to get his game under control for the Super Bowl matchup, in Sunday versus the Ravnes he brought his worst passer rating of the season (57.5). After that game Brady said he expected Superbowl Sunday to be ”the best game I’ve ever played.”

Brady goes on to tell WEEI:

“Just as the Denver game [the week before] had no impact on yesterday’s game, this game [against the Ravens] will have no impact on the game two weeks from now. I’m going to work as hard as I can these next two weeks to be prepared and to hopefully go out there and play my best game, hopefully the best game I’ve ever played. That’s what I expect to do. I know that’s what my teammates expect of me.”

Brady didn’t have the best game during week 9 play when he lost a fumble and threw two interceptions, providing three of his team’s four turnovers on the day.

Speaking about his teams three turnovers against the Ravens this past Sunday Brady noted:

“We’ve really escaped the last few weeks turning the ball over,” and “It’s one stat, losing the turnover battle pretty much correlates to losing.”

After losing in New York the Patriots went on to win the next 10 days. Since that time Brady has been learning from his mistakes and said of that game footage:

“We’ll certainly look at that game, several times,” and “You see matchups, you see how your guys match up against their guys, route-running and blocking and so forth. It will have absolutely zero impact on the game, but at the same time hopefully we can learn some lessons from that game. …”

With a rivalry that has continued to develop over the last several years Superbowl XLVI is already tuning up to be a big meeting between two teams with a lot to prove.

Who will you be cheering for Tom Brady and the Patriots or Eli Manning and the Giants?

Being down by three touchdowns means nothing to the New England Patriots when quarterback Tom Brady is in a game and that point was driven home on Sunday when the team came back from behind to defeat the Buffalo Bills 49-21, securing home field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs.

After throwing for 338 yards in the game Brady finished with the second-most passing yards in NFL hisotry (5,235) slightly less than the Drew Brees record setting season of 5,486. Those two records push Dan Marion’s 1984 season (5,084) yards into third place after 27 years unchallenged.

The win places the New England Patriots at 13-3 on the season after eight straight wins. Come from behind victories have been a regular occurrence for the Patriots lately, they also fell behind 17-0 against the Miami Dolphins at halftime but rallied for the win.

The New England defense has had a hard time keeping their opponents at bay this season, they led the NFL in the number of passing yards allowed (4,727), a new NFL record that took over where the 1995 Atlanta Falcons (4,541 yards) left off.

The teams hopes at home field advantage looked to be fading during the first quarter of play when Tashard Choice took in a 4-yard run which was then followed by Ryan Fitzpatrick’s 18 yard pass to Stevie Johnson and a 15 yarder to C.J. Spiller.

In a bit of drama Johnson was given an unsportsmanlike conduct call after he showed off a t-shirt that read “Happy New Year” at which point he was benched by coach Chan Gailey.

The Bills soared back after BenJarvus Green-Ellis scored a touchdown on a 1-yard run followed by a 39-yard TD pass to Aaron Hernandez.

New England then scored on 41 and 20 yard field goals to place the game at 21-21. Brady then threw a 17-ard scoring pass to Gronkowski while a 2-point conversion to Danny Woodhead helped the team soar into the lead.

After securing their dominance the New England Patriots then scored on a 3-yard touchdown run by Green-Ellis, another 7-yard scoring pass to Gronkowski and a 21-yard interception return by Sterling Moore just 12 seconds after Gronkowski scored.

You may recall that it was the Bills who in Week 3 overcame a 21-0 deficit to defeat the Patriots 34-31, in that game Brady threw four interceptions.

Throwing one more record onto the pile Patriots coach Bill Belichick became the first NFL head coach in history to have 13 regular season wins in five different seasons of play.

Do you think New England will win the Super Bowl this year or does Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers have the momentum needed to two-peat?

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady put together a game for the record books Sunday night (Nov. 13), in his team’s 37-16 victory over the New York Jets.

Midway through the fourth quarter of the game, Brady cracked the 300 yards passing mark for the 40th time in a regular-season game, breaking a tie with Hall of Famer Joe Montana for eighth on the NFL’s list.

In addition, Brady, 34, also became the second NFL quarterback to reach the 3,000-yard plateau after just nine games of a season – Drew Brees accomplished earlier this year – and the 7th to accumulate 117 wins as a starter Tying Joe Montana).

The records don’t stop there however, as lost amidst the slew of other milestones reached was that the Patriots’ win over the Jets was Tom Brady and Bill Belichick’s 117th career victory as a QB-coach tandem, which lifted them ahead of Dan Marino and Don Shula and into No. 1 on the all-time list.

In an interview on WEEI Radio on Monday, Tom Brady took a little time to brag on his infamous coach, saying:

“There’s so many things I’ve learned from him over the years about mental toughness,” Brady explained during his weekly interview on the Boston sports radio station. “His ability to stay even-keeled through the wins and the losses. I remember the year that we went undefeated, you never would have thought we were undefeated. You would have thought we were 0-16 the way that he coached us…He doesn’t ride those highs and lows and he comes in every week with a goal in mind. All the guys who play for him really appreciate that and appreciate his consistency and appreciate the way that he listens to the team as well.”

“Believe me, I appreciate every day showing up to work and having him as our head coach. There’s no [other] coach I’d ever want to play for.”

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady continues to hold his team up and for that reason readers of AskMen.com have added the QB to their 49 most influential men in the world list.

Brady made the cut at No. 42, making him the only NFL player to make this years list, placing him directly between Christopher Nolan and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

While the vote shows a bunch of reader confidence in Brady he’s still a far cry in the sixth annual list when compared to last year’s top NFL choice Drew Brees who drew NO. 6 on the 2010 list.

Also on the list are two people from the NBA championship winning Dallas Mavericks who couldn’t be thwarted by an NBA lockout, MVP Dirk Nowitzki (No. 39) and Mark Cuban (No. 32). Brady also just barely edged out PGA golfer Rory McIlroy (No. 45).

Brady was also beaten out by cyclist Cadel Evans who’s No. 11 spot made him the second highest ranked athlete on the list, the Australian won the Tour De France this year. Meanwhile the lists top athlete is Lionel Messi (No. 10), soccer star for Argentina and FC Barcelona.

Not surprisingly No. 1 on the list is Apple founder Steve Jobs who passed away on Oct. 5.

Since the poll would be made up of mostly men I’m not surprised a football star as good as Brady made the cut. Are you surprised that Tom Brady made the list?

Monday Night Football kicks-off its 42nd season with the New England Patriots traveling to Miami for an AFC East match-up. The game will be televised on ESPN, home to MNF since 2006.

In a unique stunt for the first week of the National Football League, ESPN will air a double-header for tonight’s MNF opener. The Pats vs. Dolphins game will air at 7pm (EST). Directly following the conclusion of that game ESPN will send its MNF coverage out west for the Oakland Raiders vs. Denver Broncos game.

It will be a long evening for NFL fans on the East Coast who plan on staying awake for both games. The Raiders/Broncos game is scheduled for a 10:15pm (EST) kick-off, most likely concluding near 2am.

This is only the third time there has been a scheduled double-header for Monday Night Football. The first two instances occurred in 2006 and 2007, the first two seasons ESPN owned the rights to MNF.

The four teams competing in tonight’s MNF season-opening extravaganza go back a long way with the iconic prime-time sports program. The Miami Dolphins will make its 75th appearance on MNF, the most appearances by any NFL team.

In addition, tonight’s double-header marks the 16th time the Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos have matched-up against each other on MNF. This is the most times two teams have faced each other on MNF.

Finally, Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady will reach a monumental record tonight. Brady needs only four completions to reach the 3,000 mark for his career. The accomplishment will make Brady only the 15th quarterback in the NFL to reach that mark.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen are not only one of the best looking celebrity couples on the planet, they are also the highest paid couple. Based on earnings from May 2010 through May 2011 the couple earned $76 million with Gisele bringing in the biggest part of the couples earnings with $45 million.

Gisele’s earnings came from a combination of fashion, endorsements and various business deals while her husband earned $31 million from his NFL contract (4 year $72 million contract) and various endorsements.

Following on their heals was Jay-Z and wife Beyoncé Knowles who earned just $4 million less than the NFL star and his wife with Jay-Z taking in $37 million, a large part which came from his 2008 10-year $150 million contract with Live Nation. Beyonce didn’t do to shabby either at $35 million, part of which was earned from clothing and other endorsements.

Also at the top of the list were Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie who brought in $50 million and David Beckham and Victoria Beckham who took in $45 million.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart also fared well at $40 million ($20 million each for their work on the Twilight series), making them the fifth richest celebrity couple of 2011, however it’s still unclear if they’ll remain in their relationship for the long haul.

There’s one fairly common theme among all of the highest earning celebrity couples of the last year, they not only have earned money from their craft but also by branching off and taking on new business ventures that earn them a revolving and growing annual cash supply.

Do any of the couples on this list surprise you? Who did you expect to see?

So it is about that time that all of us arm chair General Mangers get ready for our live fantasy football drafts. With that in mind we are going to go through the fantasy football rankings position by position. Of course we will start with probably the most important position or the perceived most important spot, and of course that is Quarterback. With that being said here are my top 5 fantasy QB’s for the 2011 season:

1.Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles- Sure Vick is a high risk high reward kind of guy, but I think he is due for a big season. He has been very solid in Philly, but the concern here is in two years there he has only played in 12 games each year. Defenses got to him later in the season last year, but for my money he tops the board.
2.Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers- I am pretty lucky he is my QB in a keeper league, and many fantasy football pundits out there have him as the number one QB. No arguments here, it would be hard to go wrong with him.
3.Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints- The Saints run a high powered offense, and he may have slipped a bit but I think Brees will still put up big numbers. The offense is New Orleans is a lot better, and that should help fantasy owners score a ton of points.
4.Tom Brady, New England Patriots- Tom is the man, and most of the stuff I have read have him firmly ranked in the top five. He has completed 65% of his passes the past two years, and Chad Ochocinco might put up big numbers with Brady throwing him the ball. Fantasy owners need to take notice of this guy. I am sure many of you already have.
5.Peyton Manning, Indianapolis Colts- there is also some risk here, Peyton is aging, that is for sure. However, if the Colts can protect him and keep opposing defenses honest with a decent running game Peyton will once again be Peyton. I wouldn’t have him as my starter, but the numbers do not lie.

Other names to look at may just be Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman; I think he is on the rise. I would also strongly consider Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan. The Falcons are going to score some points this year and Ryan may have a very big year.

The history books will right this one up and a meaningless 7-6 pre-season loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, but New England Patriots QB Tom Brady this was the game where he passed a very important hurdle. In this game Brady’s surgically repaired knee was finally put to the test.

After sitting nearly all of 2008 having surgery and what not Brady needed to get out into some NFL action and test his knee. Last night the Bengals defense got to Brady twice. That means his knee took two NFL game caliber hits and Brady was able to get up and walk away from both. On his way back, that is an important step to get past.

Of course Brady did not have that great of a game. On several passes Brady was throwing the ball flat footed, instead of stepping into his passes. Many of these balls thrown from a flat footed stand failed to find their targets. Brady was injured on a play where he was stepping into his throwing motion, obviously that is going to be the next hurdle for him. He will have to trust that he can still step into his passes without risk of a severe injury.

Two pre-season games into his return to the NFL one would have to say that Brady is about where we all expected him to be.

Tom Brady has been out of action since the first regular season game of the 2008 season. In that 2008 game Brady tore ligaments in his knee and was forced to sit out the remainder of the 2008 NFL season. Last night we saw Brady for the first time in nearly a year, and it looks like he never left.

On a night overshadowed by the Philadelphia Eagles surprising signing of troubled QB Michael Vick, Brady threw for 100 yards, two TD’s and one interception. Brady was 10-15 and played the entire first quarter. While that is a little unusual for a player of Brady’s caliber the Patriots felt after a year of that he needed the work. In the end his two TD passes were enough to lead the Patriots to a 27-25 victory over the Eagles.

On the other side of the ball Eagles QB Donovan McNabb also had a strong performance. He was able to complete 11-18 passes for 103 yards. While their first round draft pick, Jeremy Maclin, caught two balls for 44 yards. Maclin also had a good day returning kicks averaging 25 yards for the four punts he returned.

While this is just the pre-season, and coaches are using these four games to evaluate talent and get guys like Brady back into a NFL rhythm, we see clearly that The Eagles and the Patriots will be players to win their respective divsions.

Gisele Bundchen is pregnant, reports People magazine.

Gisele and new-husband Tom Brady denied reports they were expecting a child after they were spotted in May leaving an obstetrician’s office. However, “sources” are now telling the gossip mag that Gisele is pregnant and “ecstatic.” The Boston Herald also cattily cited sources confirming the existence of the new Brady-baby, after Tom flat-out denied it just weeks ago.

While unnamed “friends” of the supermodel are confirming the pregnancy, Tom’s mother and Gisele’s rep both told the AP “no comment” when confronted with the rumor. When asked about the future spawning plans in May, Brady told reporters:

“One is enough. I have dogs, that’s all I need.”

If the sources are to be believed and Gisele is knocked up, this would be the first child for the Brazilian supermodel. Brady already famously fathered a child with model Bridget Moynahan, right before taking up with Gisele and kind of leaving Moynahan to deal with the whole baby thing her ownself. Do over!

After the snafu that was their supposed romantic Christmas engagement, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady have officially gotten engaged, People reports. According to the mag, Gisele was presented with a diamond solitaire on Friday, with a source simply saying that “He asked and she accepted.” If only that could have been embellished for all the romantics out there. . . I think I liked the faux engagement story better (with the red roses, the jet, and family).

The official announcement will be released later on this week, the source hints, and preliminary wedding details are already in the works. “The couple is discussing a huge fashionista event in the spring or a more intimate and quicker ceremony in Costa Rica, where Gisele has a home,” they told People.

Imagine all of Gisele’s famous model friends descending on the beach for a long weekend. . . I don’t think people will complain if a paparazzo or two catch a photo.

Tom Brady finally asked Gisele Bundchen to marry him, TMZ reports. Mr. Football Star got down on one knee while on a private jet to pop the question, reportedly bringing out champagne and four dozen white roses to seal the deal. Here’s the extra-sappy romantic detail for you: Gisele’s parents were on the jet, which was headed to Boston on Christmas Eve, to witness the whole thing! I’m sure Gisele got an amazing rock to add to her collection.

Does this sound like a Harlequin moment to anyone else? I bet the tabs will start fabricating rumors on Bridget Moynahan’s intense jealousy post-haste.

Gisele Bundchen made quite the appearance last night at the Costume Institute Gala in New York with Tom Brady at her side, but it’s no secret that she works hard to do her job so well. (And by “job” we obviously mean looking good.) All controversy aside on that particular couple, they were looking smokin’ last night and that deserves a tip of the hat. Especially for a party that had the theme “Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy” and could therefore get pretty scary when people decide to go it alone, sans stylist.

Maybe Gisele looks so good because she’s hiding a hot little secret involving wedding bells. We can only hope! In Touch Weekly has been riding on the idea for over a week, saying that Tom will be popping the question soon.

Would I love to be a fly on the wall at Bridget Moynahan’s house… Gisele looking this good and there’s a hint of engagement? Ooof.
