What do reality TV show personality, Tila Tequila and former rap star/preacher MC Hammer have in common?

According to TMZ.com, both artists are linked to the “Gathering of the Juggalos,” a music festival founded by hip hop duo Insane Clown Posse.

In last years ‘gathering,’ two artists- Method Man and Tila Tequila- were brutally attacked by fans during their performances at the event.  Videos show angry members from the crowd hurling objects including beer cans and rocks at Tequila, as bodyguards stand on stage and attempt to swat down the projectiles.

With those events in the past- Tila threatened to file a lawsuit over the attack but nothing came to fruition as far as we can tell-  MC Hammer (seemingly) figured it would be safe to perform at the 2011 Gathering of the Juggalos, scheduled to take place this August.

Is there a name for something where everyone watching would like both sides fare poorly?

Tila Tequila is taking on Insane Clown Posse’s rabid and ridiculous fanbase, also known as Juggalos. The science-eschewing, clown makeup-wearing, Faygo swilling masses at their annual “Gathering of the Juggalos” unsurprisingly attacked Tequila when she performed on stage at the festival early Saturday in rural Illinois. Perhaps the most compelling aspect of the tale is that it seems for once Tila’s telling something approaching the truth:

Hardin County Sheriff Tom Seiner and a statement posted online by Tequila offered similar descriptions of the events.

“I went onstage and immediately, before I even got on stage, dudes were throwing huge stone rocks in my face, beer bottles that slit my eye open, almost burnt my hair … cuz they threw firecrackers on stage,” she wrote.

CNN also spoke with a witness who remained anonymous out of fear of Juggalo-related violence:

“She’s pretty cut up,” said a performer who saw the violence at the “Gathering of the Juggalos” in rural Hardin County, Illinois. The witness asked not to be identified so that he does not anger the juggalos.

Tequila is said to have responded to the initial assaults by baring her breasts to the crowd. This only further enraged the assembled crowd, who them chased the MySpace star offstage, smashing the windows of the SUV in which she escaped the melee.

After the incident, she tweeted:

violence against women like myself or anyone for that matter is not ok! Lawsuit is pending.

Thank you everyone for your support. The people at Juggalos behavior was disgusting and I am filing a suit against Them now. Thanks 4 ur luv

Pretty soon the owners who run the Juggalos will be bankrupt. My attorney Alan is already on it. This is disgusting behavior from men.

It is unclear who it is exactly that Tila Tequila plans to sue for the assault.

As late night reports rolled in about the death of heiress and girlfriend of Tila Tequila, Casey Johnson, it appears some wires got crossed and searches about Tila’s supposed death are nearly as popular as those of her deceased girlfriend.

Given Tila’s frequent tweeting on the subject, it’s safe to say that she is still among the living. Tila has tweeted seven times since the death of her girlfriend, despite having also tweeted she was “going offline” and “needed privacy.” Her comments include the four posts below, in chronological order:

Johnson was allegedly dead for days before she was found by police in her decaying mansion in Los Angeles.

Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson, 30, known for her ongoing relationship with MySpace celebrity Tila Tequila, has been found dead in her Los Angeles home.

Tila has been tweeting all night about her “fiancee’s” death, though the pair had been separated over the past week due to a spat:

(Tila) says they were fighting last week and that Casey stayed at Tila’s house on the 28th. Tila tried contacting Casey on the 29th because Casey had left her dogs behind. Tila says Casey’s phone has been shut off since the 29th and she was not able to make contact.

Although Tila’s twitter account first reported that Johnson was in a coma, TMZ indicates that Johnson may have been dead for several days before her body was discovered. Cause of death is as of yet unknown.

MySpace celebrity Tila Tequila claimed via her Twitter account that she is pregnant, and acting as a surrogate mother for her brother and his wife.

Tila tweeted:

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: I am going to become a SURROGATE MOTHER for my brother & his Wife!!! That is my xmas present to them. Im pregnant!!!!

It’s not the first time this year Tila has claimed to be pregnant, though, having tweeted in June:

“…reason why I’ve been feeling sick on and off lately is because yes, I am pregnant!”

Tila quickly backpedaled on the self-started pregnancy rumor:

“The point is … maybe I was pregnant, or maybe I wasn’t pregnant,” she says. “I think that is something very personal but I’m going to clear that up now and say that I am not currently pregnant.”

“So there you go!” she concludes. “Let’s move on now! NEXT!”

The single announcement (repeated twice on Tila’s twitter account) is the only word from the aspiring star on the matter. Tila also claims to currently be engaged to Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson, who is currently embroiled in her own baby drama regarding accusations of neglect and a custody battle over her adopted daughter, Ava.

MySpace celebrity Tila Tequila stripped off on Ustream early this morning and essentially went crazy, but unfortunately, the clip has since been yanked.

We expect it to re-surface at one point or another, but the basic gist was witnessed and recorded by many viewers. Perez Hilton transcribed one portion of the crazy, which we understand is actually only the tip of a crazy iceberg. Tila said:

“I am an angel … because I am here to save the world with my army,” said Tila. “People call me an attention whore .. or whatever … but excuse me I’m a grown ass woman and I’m confident in myself …I think a woman’s body is a beautiful thing … that’s why I’m a lesbian … I was born naked … anybody who is against that is gay and in denial.”

The ranting reportedly occurred for hours, covering everything from the cleanliness of her hoo-ha (Perez reports that at one point she removes a tampon on cam) to the alleged incident of domestic violence over which Tila is suing San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman for $1.5m.

San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman was arrested September 6, for allegedly choking and restraining MySpace and MTV celebrity Tila Tequila. Tila Tequila (real name Tila Nguyen) made a 911 call at about 3:45am on the 6th saying she had been choked and restrained by her footballer boyfriend. When police arrived at her location, Tequila signed a “citizens arrest complaint” and Merriman was taken into custody pending charges.

On Friday September 11, San Diego District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis dropped the charges against Merriman because there was insufficent evidence to prove Tequila was actually assaulted.

But this is where it gets interesting – according to 10news.com, what led up to the fight between Merriman and Tequila was when Tequila walked in on Merriman and two other women in his bedroom. Tequila stormed out of the residence, threatening to have an affair with one of Merriman’s friends. That’s when the alleged choking and confinement happened.

But did the D.A. know something we don’t? Like did Tequila call the police as payback for Merriman’s infidelity? It would appear that way, wouldn’t it? Since there wasn’t enough evidence against Merriman for the D.A. to believe the charges would stick.

D.A. Drops Charges against Shawne Merriman in Tila Tequila Assault Case is a post from: The Inquisitr

San Diego Chargers star Line backer Shawne Merriman was arrested early Sunday morning after reportedly choking his girl friend, reality TV star Tila Tequila. Merriman reportedly not only choked Tila, but was not allowing her to leave the house or restraining her in some way. For Merriman this could be the latest indiscretion that lands the NFL player in a ton of hot water not only with the law, but with the NFL itself.

Regardless of he is convicted or not Merriman is now starring a 4 game suspension for violating the leagues personal conduct rules. This is a move that could unravel he San Diego Chargers season; while many NFL pundits have the Chargers high on their list to make strong runs the loss of Merriman for a suspension could have a very serious impact on the team.

All this stems from an incident at that happened late Sunday night at Merriman’s suburban home. Tequila signed a citizen arrest warrant for battery and false imprisonment and those are the kinds of charges that could land Merriman in a heap of legal trouble.

Merriman was arrested and booked into the county jail, and was released shortly there after. It is not known if he posted bail or was simply released.

San Diego police have arrested San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman on suspicion of choking and restraining MySpace and MTV celebrity Tila Tequila.

According to reports, Tila Tequila (real name Tila Nguyen) made a 911 call from to police 3:45 a.m Sunday following the alleged attack, and told police that “she had been choked and physically restrained by Merriman when she attempted to leave his residence.” Tequila signed a “citizen’s arrest complaint” and police took Shawne Merriman into custody at the scene.

Tila was admitted to a hospital following the incident where she received treatment for her injuries. Her current status is unknown.

Tila, best known for her reality series “A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila” began dating Merriman in July.

All publicity apparently isn’t good publicity if you’re a Z-list celebrity, with lawyers representing Tila Tequila threatening Nerve for the crime of mentioning her name without permission.

One post at Nerve mentioning Tequila didn’t even focus on her exclusively, instead mention her in passing with other news.

Tila Tequila’s lawyers claim that her name and image is subject to copyright, and can only be used with permission from Tequila, even in the context of reporting news about her.

Stupidity, and it wouldn’t last a minute in court, and so far Nerve is keeping the post up, but is seeking legal advice.

The incident occurred at the club Pure at Caesars Palace, and Courtenay is alleged to have hit a Pure security guard in the back of the head with her purse. Caesars’ security force detained Courtenay until police arrived and arrested her, issuing a citation for battery.

Daddy must be so proud. Then again, this sort of press may actually make him feel better about the press he got during his tenure at Yahoo.
