<p>Executives at <a href="http://www.sybase.com/">Sybase</a> say they are close to releasing a program that&#8217;ll let businesses securely send email to the popular devices, much like the already standard Blackberry and Treo both offer.  The remarks were made at <a href="http://www.reuters.com/article/technologyNews/idUSN1954043320080519?feedType=RSS&#038;feedName=technologyNews">Reuters&#8217; Global Technology Summit</a> in New York this morning.</p>
<p>The Sybase execs also revealed plans for new software to go along with Google&#8217;s upcoming <a href="http://code.google.com/android/">Android</a> platform for smartphones.</p>
