A Swedish mother has been exposed for building a S&M sex room in an abandoned military bunker outside the town of Nordmaling.  Last Friday, two fisherman discovered the bunker and found it completely stoked with silk sheets on a bed, ropes chains, dildos and multiple leather items.  They assumed what they had found was a crime scene and called the police.

The fisherman had no reason to believe it wasn’t a crime scene especially after a similar room found last year was a crime scene.

Once word spread around the town about the bunker a woman came out and admitted it was her who had set up the room.  Swedish newspaper, Aftonbladet, reported that the woman was a “a hard-working single mum in her 40s”.

The woman, who is identifying herself only as “Lena” said she contacted the newspaper to clear up any misunderstandings, saying she brought a few men there after dates.

She told authorities, according to Joe.ie.,

“I just wanted to test my limits,”

Dee Severe, a filmmaker whose company Severe Society Films specializes in fetish films, told the Huffington Post that for people who are into BDSM it is very difficult to be open about their fetishes because people will be quick to judge.

Severe said,

“Think people are narrow-minded about gay rights? Their reaction to BDSM is three steps further. People need to gauge how family and friends might react and then decide how secretive you need to be.”

Meanwhile, Lena, said she had learned her lesson about building sex chambers in abandoned army bases.

She said,

“Sweden is not really such a free country when it comes to sexuality,”

The hit book 50 Shades of Grey has gone a long way towards helping people to understand a BDSM lifestyle but the majority of people still think this type of behavior is strange and borders on abuse.
