Forget the Lingerie Football League, former NBA star Dennis Rodman has decided to form and coach a female basketball club full of half naked strippers.

Based in New York City the team from Headquarters Gentleman Club are hoping to take on another rival club in the name of charity. According to the report the women will appear topless for the event.

It was Rodman who came up with the idea after former rival Spud Webb started his own team with Rick’s Cabaret. Spud also happens to run the Texas Legends, an NBA Development League team.

According to Rodman:

“I don’t know too many men that don’t like a good-looking woman running up and down around the court.”

The mixture seems a little odd, after all men attending the game could receive more “personalized” attention at the strip club and how many guys want to watch a bad game of basketball, especially one where the girls are further away from them and constantly running to the other side of the basketball court? Then again it worked for the Lingerie Football League but those girls are a bit more “hands on” with each other so to speak.

13 years after his departure from the NBA and this is what Dennis Rodman’s career has fallen to, it’s a sad occasion for Bulls fans who use to watch Rodman take on the NBA’s best offenses and humiliate them with enough rebounds to end a game himself.

In New York at least, everyone knows someone who was at a bachelor party where a stripper did the infamous ping-pong ball trick.

The way I heard it, there was an egg and a bat involved, and if participants broke the forcefully ejected egg with a bat, they received an oral party favor. It seems Bradley Cooper and his fellow Hangover stars were eyewitnesses to the same trick by an exotic dancer while filming Hangover 2 in Thailand, and the dancer’s aim was horrifically accurate.

Cooper explains:

“This one gal was able to eject ping-pong balls at high velocities with amazing accuracy.”

Cooper decided to join in the fun and asked Phillips to take a photo of him with his mouth open, pretending to catch one of the balls – and the performance artist’s aim was true.

Not only did the airborne ball hit Cooper, he says:

“(It went) right in my mouth… (There are) Handi Wipes coming out from everywhere, (co-star) Ed Helms is throwing up… It was memorable.”

It was not known whether the incident occurred on set or as part of a side-trip.

“The first academic research project into lap dancing” has wrapped, and it seems to indicate that the popular trope of an options-less stripper who must take her clothes off to Motley Crue or starve may not be all that representative of real life- at least, for about a quarter of “exotic dancers.”

The study, conducted at the University of Leeds, involved dancers from the UK. 87% of the women involved reported having completed “further education,” while 25% of the women held undergraduate degrees. And when the reasons that spurred women into choosing to work as a stripper were examined, the results were as such:

Aspiring actresses, models and artists used exotic dancing as a career strategy which fitted alongside their other work, training or studies.

Unemployed new graduates – mainly with arts degrees – were also dancing because they could not find graduate jobs and found that lap dancing paid much better than bar work.

Salaries averaged between $37,000-$76,000 (£24,000-£48,000) per year, and 76.4% of participants reported being “happy or very happy” in their jobs. One author of the study, Dr. Teela Sanders, says that one of the main drawbacks for participants was remaining in the field for longer than is optimal because the income level was too high to turn down:

“These women are incredibly body confident. I think there is something of a generational cultural difference. These young women do not buy the line that they are being exploited, because they are the ones making the money out of a three-minute dance and a bit of a chat. You have got to have a certain way about you to do it. They say 80 per cent of the job is talking. These women do work hard for their money – you don’t just turn up and wiggle your bum.

“But there is an issue about whether these women become trapped in the job because of the money. I think people often stay longer than they want.”

An exotic dancer with an outfit called “Naughty Bodies” has been arrested after police say she dragged a client to death following- well, following whatever goes on at a home-based event where one contracts with an organization called “Naughty Bodies.”

35-year-old Kristina Hensley stands accused of striking 31-year-old Jae Cho with her vehicle, dragging the man over a mile and resulting in his eventual and likely painful demise. Details about the events leading up to Cho’s death remain unclear, and while Hensley is currently charged only with leaving the scene of an accident, she was said to be visibly distraught and “rocking back and forth” at her arraignment.

Police say that whatever happened at Cho’s home prior to Hensley’s sudden departure seems to have spooked her, and that the exotic dancer may not have realized Cho’s body was still underneath the SUV she was driving until she stopped at a gas station two miles away. Neighbors of the woman say that despite recent drug problems, she was known to be a good mother and that news of the crime was shocking to them:

“She was a good mother. She did whatever she had to, to take care of her kids. Even if she had to be a stripper, because that was the lifestyle she knew, it was easy money for her. I don’t, I’d never seen her do anything crazy like that…”

Naughty Bodies has not yet commented on the incident.

27-year-old Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young is the “prime suspect” in an incident last night at a Dallas strip club that reportedly resulted in “bodily injury” to one person.

Details were scant surrounding the altercation, but local news station CBS 11 pinned down a location and confirmed with Dallas police that Young is suspected in the crime:

The altercation allegedly broke out after words were exchanged at Club Onyx on 10557 Wire Way. Police believe Young left the scene before officers arrived, a DPD official said.

A sports blog located some tweets from girls that may have been working at Club Onyx last night, and they seem to confirm that Young was at the club last night and left due to an altercation:

Gaming really has conquered all demographics, eh?

That up there isn’t Kirsten Schaal, as I first thought, but French burlesque performer Lady Tornade, a strip-tease artist from Paris. In between taking her clothes off for bored businessmen, Tornade finds time to stitch these gaming-themed pasties. Yeah, pasties. Apparently that’s the name for those little bits of sequinned fabric covering her nipples.

According to Kotaku, Lady T spends a week hand-crafting each pair, sequin by sequin, and charges between €30 and €40 ($40 - $54) for each.
