<p>An invitation was sent out to the press tonight inviting them to join the <a title="Sony News" href="http://www.inquisitr.com/tag/sony">Sony</a> unveiling of their Google-TV-capable Bravia line. The invitation points to one model which will be the &#8220;first Internet Television&#8221; integrated with Google TV, unfortunately very few other details have been given at this time.</p>
<p><a title="Google TV - Sony Bravia Debut October 12" href="http://www.electronista.com/articles/10/09/24/sony.teases.google.tv.event.for.october.12/">Electronista</a> is reporting that most of the features for the television are expected to come from Google, features from the Google TV platform that includes &#8220;live searching of both the web  and supported set-top boxes, such as the programming guide and the DVR.&#8221;</p>
<p>The system is also expected to run <a title="Google Android News" href="http://www.inquisitr.com/tag/google-android">Google Android</a> and allow for third-party apps with a full Google Chrome browser setup that includes flash support.</p>
<p>Sony will be the first company to offer full Google TV integration, although Logitech and Dish Network are also expected to release their own offerings in the near future.</p>

<p>Aside from YouTube, Sony is offering content from Yahoo!, AOL, Sports Illustrated, blip.tv, CondéNet’s Style.com, Men.Style.com, Epicurious and Concierge.com channels, Sony Pictures Television’s Crackle, The Minisode Network and Inside Sony Pictures channels, FEARnet, Ford Models, SingingFool and VideoDetective. Sony Bravia TV need broadband connection of at least 2.5 Mbps to access YouTube videos.</p>
<p>“The integration of YouTube into the television enhances the living room entertainment experience by offering a large number of channels for people to select from, enabling them to watch what they want, when they want it,” Chris Maxcy, YouTube&#8217;s VP for Business Development,  said.</p>
