If you’re a fan of Tetris, you may quickly change your mind after 20-30 seconds of playing First Person Tetris, an online version of the game that changes the way the games played and which has left many players, myself included, feeling sick after less than a minute.

The game doesn’t relying on any strange strobe effects, instead the actual gameboard rotates rather than the pieces, making it hard to control and even harder to stomach. While a slight flicker on the games screen makes it feel like your straining to watch an old TV from the 70′s.

Give it a try at First Person Tetris and then head on back and comment about your own reactions to the game, I’m sure it won’t effect everyone, but it’s definitely getting to many players.

No really, Kimberly Broffman, get off of their lawns.

Kimberly, a 6-year-old in the custody of her grandparents, is facing eviction by local law enforcement because her grandparents live in a retirement community. The child has lived in the house her whole life, as her mother is unable to care for her due to unspecified drug problems. Now authorities plan to remove the girl from the only home she’s ever known and place her in foster care with strangers due to a homeowners association policy.

Kimberly’s grandparents, Jimmy and Judie Stottler, have been unable to sell their home and move elsewhere due to the housing market crash. The Stottlers have even lowered the price from $225,000 to $129,000, willing to get completely hosed on the move just to keep their family intact, but no one is buying. The battle has been going on for several years, the better portion of Kimberly’s life, but the Stottlers are of limited resources to fight the situation.

Check out the MSNBC video below, where neighbors of the Stottman’s advocate for tearing the family apart. One woman, who looks like she’s about to start talking boot-straps, cruelly states that Kimberly should be ejected from her home. And the president of the homeowners association looks positively gleeful as he discusses the prospect of getting sheriffs to forcibly remove the small girl. He says in response to a question about who will take Kimberly:

“No, the sheriff will. I will merely be the President of the Board who is trying to enforce the policies of our association that she agreed to when she moved in.”

An Oklahoma woman has been arrested after organizing for her Jack Russell terrier to be skinned to make a belt.

Krystal Lynn Lewis and the person who skinned the dog were each charged with a felony count of cruelty to animals, and are being held of $25,000 bail each. The judge also ordered that Lewis undergo a mental exam.

USA Today noted that Lewis wanted the dog killed “because it was a gift from a female ex-lover with whom she doesn’t get along.”

An eight year old girl in Saudi Arabia has been denied a divorce from her 58 year old husband.

The girls mother filed for the divorce n of the daughter after her former husband gave the child away. Local campaigners identify the case of being part of a pattern where fathers using their children to take revenge on their ex-wives.

The Saudi court found that the mother did not have the right to file divorce papers because the marriage contract was signed by the father and the groom. The court said that the girl herself could file for divorce when she reached puberty.

Fortunately according to the Guardian, relatives said the marriage had not been consummated and that the girl was still living with her mother.

The sick case involved Riley and her boyfriend Richard Davis killing Marsha Spicer by suffocation while filming the event.

Riley cut a deal with prosecutors to plead guilty to avoid the death penalty. The charges included first-degree murder, kidnapping, sodomy and sex abuse. Riley also pleaded guilty to kidnapping, sodomy, sex abuse and assault for a separate videotaped attack on Michelle Huff-Ricci (who was also killed) and a kidnapping of 5-year-old girl related to Davis.

Riley was sentenced to life without parole for the murder charge and to eight additional life sentences and 239 years in prison for 25 other counts.

Davis was found guilty at trial earlier this year and is currently on death row.
