Following a drunken street fight outside of a bar last weekend, LaBeouf’s friends are urging the 25-year-old Transformers star to seek help in the form of anger management counseling, reports the Chicago Sun-Times.

During his recent bar-fight incident, Shia was beat down by a shirtless, hairy man outside the Cinema Public House in Vancouver, B.C. – where LeBeouf is current filming “The Company You Keep” with Robert Redford.

It’s been alleged Shia began arguing with a man inside the bar, when the unknown individual reportedly insulted the actor’s “manhood.”

Instead of ignoring the man, Shia and unknown bar patron took the argument outside, which is where the two began fighting.

“Unfortunately, [Shia] let the guy get under his thin skin — and he followed him out into the street, where the man knocked him down before Shia’s friends broke things up and helped cool it down,” a source told the Sun-Times.

The source pointed to alcohol as the main cause behind LaBeouf’s unruly behavior.

“These things can happen when Shia’s been drinking. He can turn nasty so fast…” the source revealed. “He’s like Sean Penn. One moment he can be totally charming, and then he’ll lose it and go off on someone – especially when it’s a nut in a bar who is looking for a fight.”

Shia LaBeouf may have a nasty headache in the morning. The “Transformers” star is likely suffering from a bad hangover and a black eye after a night of drinking in Vancouver. LaBeouf got into a fight with a shirtless man last night after he was thrown out of a nearby bar.

A spectator told RadarOnline.com:

“He got into a confrontation with a couple of people. He took a few punches to the face. He was obviously pretty intoxicated.”

Shia was in town to shoot his new movie “The Company You Keep.” According to the Winnipeg Free Press, LaBeouf was hanging out by himself at the Cinema Public House in Vancouver when he got into an altercation with some of the other customers. LaBeouf and his foe, identified only as Mike, were kicked out of the bar.

Which, of course, didn’t end the argument. The two continued to fight on the streets of Vancouver, until, well, see the video above.

This isn’t Shia LaBeouf’s first drunken fight.

The actor was handcuffed last February after he got into a fight at Mad Bull’s Tavern in California. That fight was allegedly sparked by a patron calling LeBeouf a f**g**t.

After the incident, LaBeouf said:

“I walked out to have a cigarette. I was away with some friends. Some guys instigated me and that’s what it was. Some name calling. I didn’t know them. It was just an awkward situation. I’m not trying to challenge anybody either, I was just there with my friends. People get drunk, people get crazy.”

Old Hollywood and Young Hollywood will be colliding in a new political thriller called The Company You Keep.

Robert Redford, who your mom probably thought or thinks is or was sexy will star alongside young Indy Shia LeBeouf in the film, set to begin filming in Vancouver in September. The elder sex symbol will be directing The Company You Keep- which centers around a “former militant on the run”- and the film will mark the first time Redford has been on the actor’s side of the camera since 2007′s Lions For Lambs, which Redford also directed.

The Company You Keep is based on a novel by Neil Gordon, adapted into a script by Lem Dobbs. Echoing Redford’s role in All The President’s Men, LaBeouf plays a young reporter who exposes Redford’s character, a former Weather Underground member.

Nicholas Chartier of Voltage Pictures had this to say about the film:

“This is an edge-of-your-seat thriller about real Americans who stood for their beliefs, thinking they were patriots and defending their country’s ideals against their government. It is absolutely amazing to have Shia LaBeouf, arguably the brightest young star in Hollywood today paired with the global icon Robert Redford.”

The Company You Keep is currently in preproduction.

Shia LaBeouf is done with Transformers, lasting one more movie than his former co-star Megan Fox.

Speaking with MTV News the actor said:

“I’m not coming back to do another one. I don’t think [director Michael Bay] will either,” he went on to add, ”It’s still a hot property, I think, especially coming out of the third one. So I imagine they’ll reboot it at some point with someone else.”

There doesn’t appear to be any hard feelings involved with his decision, in fact LaBeouf says that Dark Of The Moon is the “best movie yet” in basic terms of “action and geography.”

Considering the second movie was slammed by critic and some fans, I sure hope it ends up being better and I honestly can’t picture the movies without Michael Bay behind the lens and Shia leading the way with his autobot friends.

The destruction of the Indiana Jones franchise looks set to continue with news that Indiana Jones 5 will be set in the Bermuda Triangle.

According to Stuff.co.nz, “Harrison Ford’s final outing as Indiana Jones will be “emotional and exciting” as the franchise heads back to its roots after a badly received fourth installment.”

The follow up to the poorly received, but highly profitable Indiana Jones 4 will see the return of Shia LaBeouf as Indiana’s protege. We hope with all sincerity then that part of the script includes him disappearing in the Bermuda Triangle, never to be seen in an Indiana Jones movie again.

Filming is said to begin next year for a 2012 release.

The 23-year-old actor, who played Sam Witwicky in the action franchise, admits the sequel was “confused” and he often didn’t know what was happening on-set.

He said, “There are a lot of people that liked the second one, but I hated it. I just didn’t enjoy it.

“I thought we missed the mark. I got confused, I couldn’t see what the f**k was going on, you know with certain robots… I couldn’t decipher what was happening.

“There were storyline paths that I just wouldn’t have gone down.”

Despite his unhappiness, Shia has faith in the franchise’s producers and believes the forthcoming third installment will be a big improvement.

He added to FHM magazine, “I know that directors Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg are dedicated to making the best movie we possibly can, and we’re not going to miss next time.”
Shia thinks the second film suffered as a result of the strike by Hollywood writers.

He said, “We were making our second movie in the middle of the writers’ strike. We had no script. We had to work with nothing. We literally had like 40 pages. And everything was sort of made on the fly.

“But I think this time we will be more concise, and in a definite direction where we want to take it.”

Fresh from claiming his mother was the sexiest person alive, Transformers star Shia LaBeouf is now telling the world that he’s seen his parents have sex, and more.

LaBeouf tells the latest issue of Parade magazine that his humor from: “[From] seeing my parents have sex, smoke weed, my mom being naked … [and] twisted R-rated humor.”

But just because he shouldn’t stop there, he goes on to talk about the breakup with China Brezner by claiming actors and bottom feeders, and that he’s an alcoholic:

“The good actors are all screwed up. They’re all in pain. It’s a profession of bottom-feeders and heartbroken people. Maybe it was career pressure. … Maybe I chose work. Every man has those feelings of escape and survival. I know you shouldn’t be that way. I’m trying to understand it and find the answers. I don’t have them now. Why did the love of my life and I break up? … Man, I have no idea. What was that all about? I have no answers to anything. None. Why am I an alcoholic? I haven’t a damn clue! What is life about? I don’t know.”

Creepy is the word that naturally comes to find, but freaky might be closer to the mark.

Shia LaBeouf has been signed to star alongside Michael Douglas in the sequel to the 1987 movie Wall Street.

Oliver Stone will direct the movie. According to the synopsis:

In the film, Gekko (Douglas) has served his prison sentence and is warning everyone about the fall of Wall Street. No one listens to him so he devotes himself to mending his relationship with his estranged daughter. LaBeouf plays an ambitious, young Wall Street trader who is engaged to Gekko’s daughter. When LaBeouf’s mentor unexpectedly kills himself, he suspects that a hedge fund manager (Bardem) is responsible. LaBeouf seeks revenge on Bardem’s character and asks Gekko for help. Gekko agrees in return for help reconciling with his daughter. The film spans from June 2008 to the federal bail out.

LaBeouf, demonstrating his fitness for the role (not), said that the film was “a walk and talk money movie” that’s “wordy and heady.”

Filming is set to start in August.

Asked by Playboy who he thought was the sexiest person he knew, LaBeouf answered “Probably the sexiest woman I know is my mother. She’s an ethereal angel. Nobody looks like that woman. If I could meet my mother and marry her, I would. I would be with my mother now, if she weren’t my mother, as sick as that sounds.”

A new trailer has been release for the Transformers sequel: Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.

Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) discovers something about the origins of the Transformers and their history on Earth, and the Deceptacons want it. The movie starts with Witwicky going to College, and concludes at the Pyramids in Egypt.

The new trailer includes one notable scene that focuses primarily on Megan Fox’s ass, for no purpose really other than to look at it. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is due out in July 2009.

Eddie Murphy will play the Riddler in the next Batman movie according to reports.

Murphy was tapped by British director Christopher Nolan to reprise the role last by Jim Carrey in Batman Forever in 1995.

Transformers star Shia LaBeouf is also said to have signed on to play Robin, with Rachel Weisz in the role of Catwoman.

The Sun, who broke the story noted that Johnny Depp had been rumored for the role. They also get credit for the very nice Eddie Murphy Riddler mashup above.

At first I thought that he was talking about Black Monday, but it turns out that Shia LaBeouf was recounting his summer car crash. After a flipped-over truck and a serious hand injury (plus more surgery to come), he’s finally spoken out about the accident. Shia told PEOPLE that it was “eye-opening” and terrifying,” saying:

“The car hit me at 70 m.p.h. It was one of the biggest things that’s happened to me, for sure, in my life. I’m grateful to be here.”

Shia has yet to be formally charged, but it looks like this experience hasn’t been far from his mind. That’s good, and even better since he’s talking about it while things are still up in the air.

Probably not! It looks like Shia LaBeouf’s pinkie (injured in his recent accident) is going to stick around after all. Despite reports that this possibly rehab-bound actor was going to have to get his finger amputated, his publicist set things straight. Melissa Kates emailed The Dish Rag with Elizabeth Snead and stated that it’s “totally untrue.”

The cast and crew of Transformers 2 are going through a rollercoaster with this guy! I’m wishing him a speedy recovery for the sake of his co-workers.

Here’s the kicker: Shia LaBeouf has been named “not at fault” for his weekend car accident by authorities after a full investigation. While initial reports claimed that LaBeouf had made an illegal left-hand turn, now officials have determined that the other driver caused the crash by running a red light.

Okay. So Shia’s (kind of) in the free-and-clear, although his DUI still stands after “exhibiting obvious signs of intoxication.” It could be worse– at least passenger and co-star Isabel Lucas and the other driver weren’t seriously injured, or he’d be facing a fat felony charge instead.

Let’s just see if his injured hand heals up well enough to return to filming next month.

Shia LaBeouf has made his way onto GQ, where he’s managed to look hot (see above) and redeem himself for all his bad-boy ways. Well, he managed to kind of get around all the legal rumors and tell us that he also takes care of his parents and that they can just “create art for the rest of their days.”

Shia also recently worked his way into our graces after this week’s appearance on The Late Show.  I think he was supposed to be talking about Indiana Jones, but he was too busy talking about his drug store escapade and even dropping the term “doo-doo crayon.” Yes, he said it.

It’s good that he can make light of these situations. Talk about living up your worst moments and spinning them to head in a positive direction! Should his career flounder, I sense a lucrative PR position with his name on it.
