If you haven’t seen the Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg-directed comedy This Is The End, then you may want to stop here because we’re about to divulge some major spoilers.

This Is The End has been receiving positive reviews across the board from fans of the Apatow clan and from critics as well. Most of the reviews have been highlighting the surprise cameos that take place in the star-studded meta-comedy. One of the most surprising cameos is done by the Backstreet Boys themselves.

So whose idea was it to have Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel meet the Backstreet Boys in heaven and participate in what’s probably the funniest song and dance routine? It was one of the creator’s wives. While it wasn’t specified whose wife it was (it comes down to Seth’s wife comedy writer Lauren Miller, and Evan Goldberg’s wife), it still made for a hilarious ending.

As hilarious as it might have been, it was never the original ending Seth and Evan envisioned. In fact, the original ending for This Is The End, looked to be a little more typical, and a little less fun than the rest of the film. Seth Rogen dropped by Vulture and explained just what that original ending was meant to be.

Rogen said of the original ending for This Is The End: “The whole joke was, he shows up, and he’s like, ‘I’m God.’ And they’re like, ‘You’re God?’ And Jay [Baruchel] goes, ‘Wait, so when we were in Million Dollar Baby together, were you God then? I don’t get it.’ And then God shows up and he’s like, ‘We’re just fucking with you. This is Morgan Freeman. We just play this joke on people when they come to heaven now. Do you guys want to get high and play some video games?”

While it would have gotten a few chuckles, it doesn’t seem like it would have gotten the biggest reaction from an unsuspecting audience. These days Morgan Freeman is practically the face of God in pop culture’s eyes. Movies Bruce Almighty and Evan Almighty have already given Freeman his cameo as God, and that gimmick would have looekd a bit tired for This Is The End.

Before its theatrical release the stars of This Is The End had critics wondering how meta can the film possibly get? Well, it looks like the play on their personalities extends past the film and into the soundtrack.

In This Is The End we’re given an exaggerated version into the lives of Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride, Jonah Hill, and Craig Robinson as they barricade themselves in Franco’s house for the end of the world. The film is filled with jokes about the actors failures in the industry, and peppered with jokes that attacks the public perception of each Hollywood star featured.

Now we have a look into the soundtrack that makes up the outrageous film, and there’s more meta to enjoy. Besides Seth Rogen letting his love of old school hip hop show, James Franco’s jazz band Daddy is also featured on the soundtrack, which is a bit of a play on his own meta-persona. In addition hip hop highlights include KRS-One, Snoop Dogg, Cypress Hill and J-Kwon.

Of course for those who haven’t seen the film, the soundtrack listing may spoil you a bit, particularly the usage of two huge songs in the film, that get the most laughs in the outrageous comedy.

This is the End has received quite a few positive marks from a number of top critics.

Although comedies generally have a tough time when they land in the hands of reviewers, directors Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen’s apocalyptic farce is getting quite a bit of acclaimed.

This is the End tells the story of six friends who find themselves trapped inside a house during what appears to be the end of days. After things begin to escalate, they venture outside into what’s left of Los Angeles.

The flick stars Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, James Franco, Craig Robinson, Danny McBride, and Jonah Hill, among many others. All of the actors play themselves in the comedy.

Newsday critic Rafer Guzman seemed to particularly enjoy Rogen and Goldberg’s apocalyptic flick. Although not every joke was a zinger, Guzman was seemingly able to look past these occasional hiccups.

“With no outsiders to coddle, this tight-knit ensemble locks into a groove and reaches some truly giddy heights, turning even the weakest material (a spoof of “The Exorcist”) into anarchic fun,” he wrote in his review.

Kyle Smith of the New York Post seemed to enjoy the flick more than anyone. According to him, This is the End could cause considerable bodily harm to those who find the flick’s numerous jokes to be nothing short of hilarious.

“There is stuff in [the film] that had me laughing so hard, I sensed new body parts joining in to help out — my pancreas was heaving, my bile ducts ripped,” he explained.

Of course, not everyone is going to love This is the End. Although Andrew O’Hehir at Salon.com said the movie was initially enjoyable, a few things started to get under his skin as the feature wore on.

“I enjoyed the hell out of it for a while, but it got irritating and self-congratulatory long before it was over and I desperately do not want to see it again,” he wrote in his write-up.

Rogen and Goldberg’s flick has some stiff competition this weekend. Zach Synder’s highly-anticipated Man of Steel also hits the big screen.

Sometimes when a box office buzzed about film fails upon theatrical release, it usually gets pushed under the rug never to be discussed again. However, that wasn’t the case for Seth Rogen. In a candid interview with Marc Maron, Seth Rogen wasn’t shy about talking about his colossal failure of The Green Hornet.

For those who don’t remember, Seth Rogen starred and wrote the Michel Gondry directed Green Hornet film. On a global and domestic scale the film was a failure, and it also didn’t impress critics either. During press for This Is The End, Rogen opened up about the whole experience, calling it “a dark time.” About that time, Rogen said:

“While we were making it, it was a f–king nightmare. And Gondry, the director, is wonderful at smaller scale stuff but I think he did not mesh well with [a blockbuster film]. It was his first movie with more than a $20 million dollar budget and this was $120 million dollar budget. And if there is one thing I look back on like, ‘What was the problem there?’ It was just the budget. ”

Rogen went on to say that he learned what does work best for him in the industry. According to Rogen, his films — such as Pineapple Express, Knocked Up, and 50/50 which were all successes and had much smaller budgets — made for a better fit in terms of quality.

Rogen said:

“It’s the ones where they leave us alone and we can do whatever we want, we’re in charge or our friends are in charge, and we are free to do whatever we want [that turn out the best]. ”

His current film This Is The End, which marks his directorial debut with writing partner Evan Goldberg, was shot for $31 million dollars. The film has received rave reviews for Rogen’s brand of comedy and hits theaters on Wednesday.

YouTube is looking to make a name for itself in the comedy sector in a very big way in May. The first ever “Comedy Week” will feature a variety of different big time comedians all showing their wares on the social video networking site.

Google’s video service has been looking to get more eyes on the site over the last few weeks with a host of cool little features. Most recently the site was highlighting the birthday of the video tape by actually allowing people to watch videos using that less than top notch quality of picture.

YouTube’s foray into this Comedy Week endeavor is an entirely different experience in terms of effort and span. The seven-day bonanza of comedy will be featuring plenty of some of the funniest men and women out there.

There will be a whole host of different ways in which people will be able to access the event. Some of the offerings will be live video, while others will be taped and uploaded to the site.

There will also be a nice mishmash of people who will be featured during the week. There will be plenty of well known actors and actresses, all from the comedy side of the business. Rainn Wilson is just one of the names that is expected to appear.

Seth Rogen, Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera, Reggie Watts and the comedy duo Tim & Eric are also some of the big names that are taking part with this particular endeavor. There will also apparently be plenty of home grown comedic talent featured during the week.

The Gregory Brothers and the guys who are behind the Epic Rap Battles of History will also be showing off what they can do when they are given a larger stage.

The YouTube Comedy Week will run from May 19 to May 25.

The marketing seems to be rolling rather nicely with the apocalypse comedy This Is the End. Rogen’s directorial debut seems to be looking more promising with each exclusive look. From the teaser trailer released in winter to the excellent red band trailer released on April Fools’ This Is the End looks like it’s going to be the comedy of the Summer.

It’s refreshing to see some comedy into the apocalyptic genre, especially seeing as our last taste was the horrid Battle: Los Angeles. This Los Angeles battle proves to be an extreme different take, cemented in smart stoner comedy from the Apatow generation. From what we’ve seen so far the self-satirical versions the actors have taken on beg the audience to take the previous gloom and doom tone of the genre and throw it out the window.

The new clip for This Is the End sees its stars and longtime collaborators James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Danny McBridge, Jay Baruchel and Craig Robinson stuck in Franco’s house in full apocalyptic flux. The actors are hovered around Franco’s wide screen TV flicking through the unfolding events until they lose the signal, and that’s when the back and forth kicks in.

Baruchel suggests they should all go back to Seth’s house and implies he would rather die in Seth’s house than James Franco’s. Hill, of course counters, rather arrogantly that all of them are just as big as George Clooney and will be saved when they start evacuating famous celebrities. It’s something they’re all thinking, but Hill who at times has played characters who often make delusions of grandeur statement, it seems to fit his persona.

In This Is the End, the best comic actors of this generation play themselves in an apocalyptic scenario. Sound kind of strangely like it might be better than you thought? It is.

After releasing a teaser trailer for Pineapple Express 2 earlier today (sorry, it was an April Fools’ joke), Sony introduced the full red band trailer for a hilarious movie that is actually happening, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s apocalypse comedy This Is the End.

The film is based on the short film Jay and Seth vs. The Apocalypse, a short film created by Rogen and Jay Baruchel in 2007. The Pineapple Express 2 teaser ended up being a trailer for This Is the End, but the full red band trailer has only just launched. It goes a bit more into the story and teases several celebrity deaths.

Here’s the synopsis for This Is the End:

The comedy This Is the End follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside. Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption.

What the synopsis doesn’t tell you is that Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, and just about everyone else you can think of play fictionalized versions of themselves attending a party at Franco’s house when the world begins to end.

The film will also star Emma Watson, Michael Cera, Rihanna, and a bunch of others from the trailer.

Are we getting a second look at Dale Denton and Saul Silver’s weed journeys with another Pineapple Express film? Sort of. Rogen continued his genius marketing in playing in on unofficial holidays to promote his directorial debut This Is The End.

Earlier today Seth Rogen released a gag for April Fools’ as the trailer for Pineapple Express 2 launched just in time for the holiday. Over the weekend, there was buzz created per This Is The End’s Facebook about an official red band trailer being released on Monday for Rogen’s new film. We should have known that Seth was up to something, being that today is April Fools’.

The red band trailer shows Saul Silver (James Franco) and Dale Denton (Seth Rogen) repeating infamous lines from the first Pineapple Express film, with the trailer going on to say that the duo are back for a second hit. Shortly before the trailer ends, we see James Franco, Seth Rogen, and Jonah Hill playing a game of puff, puff, pass in Franco’s home in the middle of the apocalypse for This Is The End.

Before the Pineapple Express 2 turned This Is The End teaser trailer ends, Rogen quips “We should make sequels to more of our movies. I’m pretty good at the song.” Rogen continues as he sings M.I.A.’s hit song from the Pineapple Express movie, “Paper Planes.” By the time the trailer ends we have been punk’d but extremely excited for This Is The End.

For Rogen’s This Is The End, this is the second teaser trailer we’re receiving for the film that stars Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, and Jay Baruchel playing skewed versions of themselves upon the brink of the apocalypse. The first teaser trailer came the night before the Mayans said the world as we knew it would end. It proved to be a great marketing scheme and got everyone talking about the summer comedy.

The cast for Nicholas Stoller’s new comedy Townies is coming together quite nicely. The Seth Rogen starring vehicle has now added two somewhat familiar faces to comedy. Dave Franco (younger brother of James), and Christopher Mintz-Plasse have found their way into the comedy.

Reports are trickling in that both of the young actors will be reuniting for Townies. The script, which was written by Andrew J. Cohen and Brendan O’Brien, sees Seth Rogen out of the realm of his frat shenanigans. Instead Rogen is set to play a mild-mannered man whose life is absolutely destroyed by a local fraternity that are currently taking over the neighborhood. The solution is said to be all out war between Rogen and the boys.

While it isn’t certain what role Christopher Mintz-Plasse will play, Franco is said to be the vice president of the fraternity, and best friend with Zac Efron’s character, who will be the lead antagonist to Rogen’s mild-mannered character. In addition, Rose Byrne has also joined the cast as Seth Rogen’s wife.

Although the film doesn’t have a release date as of right now, we’re betting that production will start relatively soon seeing as the cast is quickly coming together. In addition to Townies, as a writer, Stoller penned the muppets sequel, The Muppets… Again!

Christopher Mintz-Plasse got his start in Seth Rogen’s co-written comedy Superbad, in which he played lovable nerd and the arguable hero Mclovin, while Dave Franco has been slowly coming up in an extended Judd Apatow way. The actor had his breakout role playing a drug supplier in the hit comedy 21 Jump Street, which starred co-writer Jonah Hill.

As for Franco and Mintz-Plasse this will be yet another project they have appeared in together. Before Townies, the two collaborated on three Funny or Die shorts Would You, You’re So Hot, and You’re So Hot Part Deux, as well as the film remake Fright Night.

It looks like James Franco and Seth Rogen may take their bromance to the next level. Seth Rogen is reportedly eyeing his second co-cirectorial project with writing partner Evan Goldberg, and it’s said they both want James Franco for the lead.

While fans of the Pineapple Express and Freaks & Geeks duo will be able to see the two act in Rogen’s first directorial debut for This Is The End, the expected success of that film is said to have started the ball rolling on a new assassination comedy for Rogen.

According to reports, the comedy film titled The Interview is being headed by Sony, the same studio that has seen This Is The End, and was apparently pleased with the results. For The Interview, Rogen will team up with writing and directing partner Goldberg to tackle what happens when a talk show host and his producer accidentally wind up in the middle of a plot to assassinate the prime minister of North Korea. Rogen, who is set to star is really looking forward to bringing James Franco on board, in which he’ll play the talk show host.

If The Interview goes down like Rogen and Sony want it to, this will be the third picture that James Franco and Seth Rogan have starred in together. Their latest film, This Is The End, sees the boys playing skewed versions of themselves along with Jonah Hill, Danny McBride, Jay Baruchel, and Craig Robinson while in the middle of an end of the world party thrown by Franco. What they come to find out is that their city of Los Angeles is being destroyed and it’s actually the end of the world as they know it.

Currently, James Franc,o in the middle of his jam packed schedule, is shooting the Brad Pitt-produced True Story, in which he plays a criminal on the loose opposite journalist Jonah Hill.

Seth Rogen To Reunite With James Franco For Assassination Comedy is a post from: The Inquisitr

Seth Rogen appeared on David Letterman’s CBS chat show last night, to reveal that he suffered an embarrassing health scare recently when a doctor found an ‘anomaly’ in his groin.

The comedian was asked to strip off for the doctor, who then took pictures of his private parts to examine the problem further.

Rogen told Letterman, “They examine every inch of your body. Literally EVERY inch of your body. And my wife was there with me, which was surreal … It’s not funny. They found an anomaly on my groinal region …”

He then went on to add, “What happens when they do that is they have to document it. They have to take a photo of it. So there’s this 50-year-old woman in the room and my wife and they’re like, ‘We have to take a picture of your bare groinal region.”

Seth went on to add that he looked to pull manly poses as the doctor took the pictures, stating, “I’d never taken nude photos in my life, and so, I wanted them to be good. My instinct was to [pose], I remember seeing Burt Reynolds on the cover of Playgirl once. They didn’t want that though.”

Rogen went on to qualm fears that he had actually suffered a horrific injury by predicting that it is ‘just a mole’ and that doctors will continue to monitor it, before adding, “I will have a calendar in 11 more visits.”

On the eve of what is considered to be our ultimate demise as a civilization, actor Seth Rogen decided to release a small teaser, followed by a red band trailer for his new film This Is The End, that caters to the apocalyptic end-of-days feel.

However, if the trailer is evidence enough, this will be a light-hearted comedic but also epic action film. If you’re not convinced then perhaps the cast, which features this generation’s best comics, will sell it for you. Last summer Rogen, who makes his directorial debut with partner Evan Goldberg, went hard to work in New Orleans to shoot This Is The End. The star-studded cast includes James Franco, Seth Rogen, Craig Robinson, Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, Rihanna, Jonah Hill, Michael Cera, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride. Do we really need to go on?

If R&B star Rihanna seems a little out of place, the film’s premise kind of sets it straight. The film is centered around an end of the world party that James Franco throws at his house in Los Angeles . To celebrate, Franco decides to invite all of his friends for the party, but of course chaos ensues and the comedic group of actors face an utter doomsday situation as they try and save the world from ending.

This film can only end in two ways, it can either be one of the funniest apocalyptic films to ever grace the screen, or it can be herald as a disaster. One thing’s for certain, it’s pretty bold of the actors to portray skewed versions of themselves for the film. Who knows what will happen? If the world doesn’t end tomorrow then we’ll find out in the summer.

Seth Rogen Drops Trailer For Apocalyptic Comedy ‘This Is The End’ is a post from: The Inquisitr

Before Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, and James Franco became household names, they were all a part of a young promising cast of NBC’s ill-fated Freaks and Geeks. The show only lasted for a season, but it proved to be a great springboard for talents like Segel, Franco, Rogen, and executive producer Judd Apatow. It hasn’t happened since their 2000 cancellation, but the whole cast, including guest stars, reunited for Apatow’s guest comedy issue for Vanity Fair.

Freaks and Geeks premiered and was marketed as the anti-Dawson’s Creek, which at the time of its debut, was the far more popular series amongst teens. Instead, Freaks focused on the “unpretty” faces of teens, and the real issues teens faced. Before the Vanity Fair shoot, some key cast members reunited two years ago for the Paley Film Festival, but this is the first time everyone returned to pay tribute.

Creator Paul Feig, who based many of the episodes off of his own high school experience reminisced about the series:

“The reviews were great, and the premiere had a really high rating. The first Monday back I stood on a table and read the ratings and everybody cheered. And the next week we just dropped huge. And Joe Flaherty [who played Harold Weir] was quoted as saying, ‘Yeah, Paul never came back in and read the ratings to us again after that first week.’”

Apatow, who created a personal experience by infiltrating the actors personalities into their characters, said of the last day of shooting:

“I went for my very last day of shooting. Linda [Cardellini] was crying,” he recalled. “I was like, ‘Why are you crying?,’ and she said, ‘I’m not ready for this to be over.’ And I was like, ‘Well, you don’t know — we could come back.’ And she was just like, ‘It’s over, dude.’

Busy Philipps, who went on to star in Cougar Town and the show’s rival Dawson’s Creek, explained how Freaks and Geeks captured lightening in a bottle for the young actors, even for a short time:

“I feel that what Judd [Apatow], Paul [Feig] and Jake [Kasdan] were able to do on that show, even though we were all relatively young and mostly inexperienced, was validate our ideas and talent by always giving us room to collaborate with them even at age 17, 18, 19.”

That magic that was captured on Freaks and Geeks still holds weight today. A new life was given to the series a few weeks ago when the show showed up on Netflix. It’s now one of the most popular series on the streaming service. Perhaps we just weren’t ready in 1999?

The Cast Of ‘Freaks And Geeks’ Reunite For ‘Vanity Fair’ is a post from: The Inquisitr

It’s been a busy day for movie trailers. Early this morning we got The Lone Ranger, this afternoon we were treated to Jason Statham’s Parker, and now you can round it out your trailer fix with a look at the Seth Rogen and Barbara Streisand comedy/road movie The Guilt Trip.

In the film, Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogen star as mother and son. Rogen’s character is an inventor who takes his mother along with him on a road trip to secretly help reunite her with her long-lost love, but, of course, nothing goes to plan (road films rarely do).

Though everyone has an opinion about Rogen (Green Hornet sucked, there’s mine), The Guilt Trip actually looks fairly promising. I agree with Zap2it on this one – Rogen and Streisand as mother and son is a good sell, even though you’d never expect these two to headline a film together.

Other funny people rounding out the cast include Adam Scott, Colin Hanks, Yvonne Strahovski, Danny Pudi, and Dale Dickey.

Anne Fletcher, director of The Proposal, is behind this comic venture, and, though you might have an opinion on that film (it sucked, there’s mine), the film feels familiar enough to that formula for fans of it and different enough to appeal to a wider audience. I, for one, am excited to see it.

Seth Rogen And Barbara Streisand’s ‘The Guilt Trip’ Gets A Trailer [Video] is a post from: The Inquisitr

Typically when we write about stalkers they are chasing after A-list actors and top music acts but this week it is Seth Rogen’s wife who is being hunted by a “delusional” stalker.

Actress Lauren Miller has taken out a temporary restraining order against Yasin Ajani, 31, claiming that the man has tried to enter her home by manipulating the family maid in order to gain access to Millers personal belongings.

In legal documents from the restraining order Miller claims Ajani knocked on her door at 6pm on July 16 and claimed to the couple’s maid that he was a friend of Seth and Lauren. Ajani then claimed that he was delivering a package.

The quick thinking maid refused access to the home but Ajani jumped over the couple’s fence and laid on a couch in the couple’s front yard patio area.

Police quickly arrived on the scene and arrested Ajani for public trespass.

After the arrest Ajani told police the “voices told me to go see and talk with Lauren.”

Lauren filed the restraining order because she was afraid that Ajani would not stop seeking her out while noting:

“I cannot sleep at night and constantly check through the windows and the surveillance system for Ajani.”

After the arrest Yasin Ajani was placed on a 72 hour hold so mental health officials could evaluate his mental stability.

A hearing is scheduled for August 10 and in the meantime a judge has ordered the Seth Rogen family stalker to remain at least 200 feet away from both Rogen and Lauren Miller.

Michelle Williams hit the red carpet in New York City Sunday evening for the Premiere of “Take This Waltz.”

The drama, also starring Luke Kirby and Seth Rogen, premiered Sunday evening at the 2012 BMCC Tribeca PAC Festival.

According to Just Jared, the film’s synopsis is as follows:

“Margot (Williams) and Lou (Seth Rogen) are a happily married couple living a quiet, comfortable existence. Their marriage is filled with love, companionship, and humor, but after years of being together, they have settled for contentment and security over excitement. Their life is thrown out of order when Margot falls in love with a handsome and charismatic neighbor (Kirby), and she is forced to choose between the comfort of the familiar and the exhilaration of the unknown.”

The film is described as, “a funny, bittersweet and heart-wrenching story about a woman struggling to choose between two different types of love.”

Michelle Williams was recently spotted with Jason Segel on their first public appearance since announcing they are dating. Segel, like a good boyfriend, was also present at the premiere for Williams’ new movie, although he reportedly snuck in the back of the venue to avoid a huge crowd.

The film, also starring Sarah Silverman, is directed by Sarah Polley. “Take This Waltz” is set to be available On Demand beginning on May 25th, and will make a limited showing in theaters beginning June 29th.

As the cab pulls up to her home, she gazes upon it with a look that’s equal parts fear and dread. “I’m married,” she tells him. “Oh,” he replies. “That’s too bad.” It’s bad because they’ve hit it off so well on the plane and in the cab; it’s also bad because he gets out and walks to his home, which is basically across the street. Funny how you never notice a new person moving in, isn’t it?

At the 27th Annual Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica on Saturday, Seth Rogen might have well sold tickets because he was the most hilarious part of the whole evening. The “50/50″ star brought down the house during his awards-show hosting debut. He had profanity laced diatribes ranging from Brett Ratner, Mel Gibson and the Grammys.

About Ratner Rogen joked,

“The best thing to come of awards season is we learned what a horrible bigot Brett Ratner is,”

He then went on to ponder openly whether he would have been a better fit for being a producer of the Grammy Awards.

Rogen then took aim at musician Chris Brown, who is universally despised for the way he treated Rihanna. He said to the crowd,

“At the Grammys, you can literally beat the shit out of a nominee and be asked to perform twice,”

In case anyone had forgotten, the Grammy Awards came under heavy fire two weeks ago for letting Brown perform twice even though just three years ago he was arrested for beating up his then girlfriend.

Discussing the year’s Spirit Award nominees, Rogen was just as quick-witted. He joked that “Drive” was a silent film, before commenting on the villains in Nicolas Winding Refn’s moody noir, played by Albert Brooks and Ron Perlman.

“‘Drive’ made Jews so scary I thought Mel Gibson directed it,” he said.

Rogen saved his best one liner for the film “The Artist” which had won for Independent Spirit Awards including Best Picture.

He joked,

“I thought we created the whole foreign film category to stop this shit from happening.”

Seth Rogen has reason to be doubly excited this week. Not only was his most recent film, 50/50, very well received by critics – and a respectable performer at the box office – he’s also tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, writer and actress Lauren Miller, according to Us Weekly.

The two reportedly got hitched at a Jewish ceremony, performed by a female Rabbi, “atop a hill surrounded by vineyards” in Sonoma, California. Several high profile guests were reportedly in attendance at Rogen and Miller’s wedding, with names like Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd, Adam Sandler, Craig Robinson, and director Judd Apatow and his family.

“The wedding was more laughs than anything else,” a source told Us Weekly. “Every other line was a joke and the crowd couldn’t contain their laughter. It was nonstop fun!”

Rogen and Miller have been dating in 2004, when they met while working on Da Ali G Show, where Rogen was a writer. Six years later on September of last year, Rogen finally popped the question to Miller – to which she said yes, of course.

“She’d started giving up hope that he would ever pop the question,” a friend of Rogen’s told Life & Style last year. “Her family adores him; everyone is thrilled to plan a wedding.”

In an interview on Conan last November, Rogen opened up about being nervous about the proposal after picking up the ring.

“Literally, I felt like someone had given me like a truckload of heroin to hold onto, I felt like the feds were going to kick in my door at any second,” he said. “I couldn’t have a conversation with my girlfriend. All I could think of was this ring. Like, ‘Don’t say ‘Lord of the Rings!’ Don’t mention anything about a ring!”

Saturday Night Live premiered for a 37th season on Saturday night and host Alec Baldwin took on hosting duties giving him the record for the most shows hosted by a single person.

Last night’s performance was the 16th time Baldwin hosting SNL placing him one hosting gig ahead of former SNL funnyman Steve Martin.

To ensure the win was on the up-and-up Baldwin had his blood testing for “performance-enhancing drugs” by fellow comedian Seth Rogen during the opening monologue at the request of Steve Martin.

One thing missing from the SNL show was Baldwin’s chance to take on FOX after they cut his Rupert Murdoch phone hacking joke from last weeks Primetime Emmy awards show (Murdoch’s News Corp. owns Fox News), causing Baldwin to walk off the show before it even began.

If you can’t get enough of Alec Baldwin’s SNL skits you can also now pic up Schweddy Balls ice cream from Ben & Jerry’s. Baldwin says there’s also a new flavor coming out for his critics, he said it’s called “Go Fudge Yourself.”

We see a lot of Star Wars based parodies online but it’s not everyday that a group of A-List stars get together to work on a parody of the popular science fiction series put together by George Lucas’ own team at Lucasfilm.

Among actors features in the parody are:

Emma Stone, Seth Rogen, Aziz Ansari, Bill Hader, Ed Helms, Ken Jeong, Zach Galifianakis, Jaime King and Andy Samberg.

The video was created in support of the group “Stand Up to Cancer” and is also part of the Use the Force for Good Campaign that launched in early September with the goal of raising awareness about cancer researcher through the use of videos and the sale of Star Wars themed t-shirts.

The release also coincides with the release of the Star Wars: The Complete Saga blu-ray.

In the video each actor listed above re-enacts some of the most famous scenes from the series.

Observe and Report brings Seth Rogen and Anna Faris together in a comedy directed by Jody Hill.

Bi-polar mall security guard Ronnie Barnhardt (Rogen) is called into action to stop a flasher from turning shopper’s paradise into his personal peep show. But when Barnhardt can’t bring the culprit to justice, a surly police detective is recruited to close the case.

The film has an R rating due to pervasive language, graphic nudity, drug use, sexual content and violence, and it doesn’t look half bad either.
